Squad-Based? Metroid? The whole selling point of Metroid is that you're ALONE, not in a squad.

I would love to see that game return. An HD update wouldn't cut it, it needs a makeover. However, scaling 3D mountains would be a fun and unique twist on the sidescrolling platformers. Set in a style similar to 3D World. A simple game, without complex overworlds and long stories, just pure gameplay; Popo, Nana and a mountain.

I'd like to see an in depth simulation game developed by Nintendo for the Wii U. Yeah, there are already two sim IPs; Animal Crossing and Tomodachi Life, but both are more suitable for handhelds (despite the fact that AC started on consoles. It's apparent as to why it has become a franchise for the handheld, however.) A sim developed for the Wii U should provide an experience that allows the gamer to sink in hours at at time rather than playing briefly to get caught up with tasks or to attend a real time event. Beyond that, I don't have any details in mind as I would trust the masterminds at Nintendo to figure that out. I'm very curious as to how an ambitious sim project by Nintendo would turn out.

I've had a pretty (I believe) original idea which would make a great game.

It's about a futuristic amusement park where dinosaurs are brought to life through advanced cloning techniques. I call it:

'Billy and the Cloneasaurus'

Grand Theft Mario (working title)- Mario and Bowser have called a truce and Mario has to live a reasonably normal life in the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario can run and jump his way around a huge open world or borrow/steal MK vehicles while taking on missions to earn stars, coins and powers ups. Mario has a huge array of classic Mario Bros. weapons and suits to choose from to access different areas etc. etc.

Luigi's Bad Pipe Day - Luigi returns to Brooklyn through a warp pipe and finds out all of the terrible stuff that has happened to humanity since he travelled the world in 'Mario is Missing'. He immediately picks up an uzi that he finds in the crack den he used to call home and begins a long journey of murder hoping to put society right before it destroys itself. After murdering Obama and discovering that the reptilian conspiracy theory is true, he wakes up from his dream.

Battalion Warfield of Duty- A game that plays like the strategy missions in CoD:BO2 crossed with Battalion Wars, Freedom Fighters and Battlefield. Gamepad is a map of the battlefield and your squad can be divided up and micro managed on the gamepad. Any member can be selected for a FPS/TPS style view to complete objectives and assist the reasonably stupid AI members of your team.

Iwata's Revenge - Peter Moore is tied to a pole and you are given the chance to inflict a world of pain on him.

Top Gear - Nintendo should buy the IP from Kemco and reboot it as a proper racing game but pay Sega to make it similar to MSR crossed with Sega Rally (and every other Sega Arcade racer).

I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.

i've been working on the story and gameplay of my game for awhile. The games plotted out on the fact you have 29 days to save your country. I won't share to much story as of yet, but it's a huge open world consisting of two flatlands, one giant group of mountains, ten cities/towns (all accessible) a giant deadly desert, two forests, and beaches. There are three different types of humans, one group able to fly, another are normal, and a few able to live underwater, but only ten of those remain and aren't important to the main story. It would take 6 days to treck the whole world to get to the main villain if you skipped the story, as everything is set to happen a certain day, but that can be messed with. A village in the game is burned down on the eleventh day. If you skip meeting a friend, you can save the village from being destroyed, but lose the chance of making the new friend. This effects the final boss battle horribly, but the final boss is still beatable if and only if you find someone else to replace them. The game would be filled with sidequests, the main quest also not being 'required' to get to the last boss. If you went straight to the final boss, you could fight him, but would not be able to win. The other gameplay element is the stones. There are four possible friends you make. You, the player, your best friend is required, and then either the person who can fly, or the person who breathes water. Each character has a stone. The only way to attack is with the stone. You, the player, has the stone that summons a sword. Your best friend has a stone that casts fire. The other two have stones that cast water of wind. Each stone has an impact on the environment as well. Use water in the desert and cause quick sand or floods. Use a large fire in the forest and risk killing you, your friends, and the forest. And everything you do has a permanent stain as well.

A game focused on exploration where you can play single player(as Popo or Nana) where the gamepad is used as a blank map that you can draw on, or co-op where one is on tv other gamepad. Each level is a large expansive area with a mountain in the middle and you just have to get to the top anyway you can. There could be multiple paths and just a ton of area to explore. There could be enemies you fight with hammers and other gear you buy from shops(you make money by finding treasure/selling stuff you find).

That sounds awesome!!!

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I have an idea. It's called Hoverbust. Basically you play as characters similar in looks to the Inklings from Splatoon on Hoverboards. The whole idea is to knock each other off of their boards, and they have health meters. However, the characters also have a special power, selected by the player. I haven't figured out the powers, but I have a vague idea. There would be two modes. The main battle, which is the knocking off type, and a racing mode where you race across tracks.

I know what the trailer would look like too.
A character races into the camera and upwards, and on the bottom of the board is the logo. Gameplay follows, then the release date/window, then finally the same character spins his board round and smiles.

What do you all think?

Code Name S.T.E.A.M. isn't an FPS.

My username is the same as my Network ID. There goes originality.

I'm a person, apparently. Who knows? I might be lying, after all.
