Anyone who isn't a ninendrone will tell you ps4 is a superior console. I've never even owned a sony video game product, and even I have to admit nintendo is not as good as sony this gen. Sony's console is much stronger and only $100 more. They've already far outsold the pii u, and has a much more promising lineup.

I will say it's not over for nintendo though obviously, it's just over for the wii u.

Using terms like Nintendrone and Pii U ruin any validity your statement had.

Don't you jinx the wii u like that, it may be the worst home console nintendo ever released, but to say it's as bad as a post-genesis sega system is below the belt.

Again, way to ruin whatever validity you had. I'm not a "Nintendrone", whatever the heck that means. I know that technologically, the PS4 and One are superior to the Wii U. That's a fact. A given. Cemented. Boom. I also know that third parties are leaving the Wii U and are staying at the One and PS4. Great. Knowledge. Pow.

However, with both the PS4 and Wii U at around 7 million sales worldwide and a wide variety of games on both, I don't see how one is "better" than the other. Preference is one thing, but stating your opinion as fact is just silly. Along with that, all of the consoles have many reasons to buy them. If I had the means, I'd own all of them, but I have the Wii U because I had a Wii and backwards compatibility is a nice feature. Same reason I got a PS2 after having a PS1.

You see, what most people who spend more time on forums than actually playing video games do is pretend that the world can only revolve around one console. For those of us who are gamers and ACTUALLY spend the majority of our time playing games (on that note - it's been awhile since I posted - "hey" to anyone who remembers me!) we realize that gaming usually takes the form of multiple consoles and/or PC - it just depends on what we feel like that day. Today I felt like playing WoW. Tomorrow may be finally finishing Pikmin 3, or maybe even some rounds of Titanfall on my Xbox One.

But what I can say for sure, is that the Wii U is an awesome console with awesome games that absolutely has its place in any gamer's home.

But srsly, many factors are why the ps4 is superior. Of course you're entitled to your opinion, but you can also say that the virtual boy was the best console of all time too and I wouldn't be able to prove you wrong with evidence other than the evidence I can provide with the PS4 vs the pii u.

I think this thread was at least a little facetious, and it was amusing. Yes, Nintendo is so great that they even turned down lunch with Obama for SMASH!

I love Sony consoles and I love the PSN. Heck, I even love Vaio laptops and own 2 of them. I even bought a PS3 at launch for $600, because I'm really dumb like that.

The PS4 bores me to tears. I already have an outdated PC. I don't need another.

You compare the PS4 to the Xbox one as if that point is relevant. Then you stated a subjective opinion about the controller. Shall I call you a Sony drone then?

Real gamers have a PS4 and hang out on Nintendo fan sites and tell the Nintendo fans how lame Nintendo is.

I had a PS3 once. It was one heck of a disaster. The store was full of errors, the OS kept crashing frequently, and the games didn't really impress me. This is why I don't want a PS4. Go team Nintendrone (if that word is even appropriate here)

PS3 was a failure for it's first 3-4 years I'd say, but it had a late revival and I honestly don't know why. I thought the xbox 360 would have had a a stronger revival solely from the brogamers.

Well, not much you can do about the games not being to your taste, but I think that your woes with the errors and crashes were at least an isolated experience. I've never had any problems with it.
