At this point, I do not have interest in buying Wii U, but things could change in the future.

The price of the Wii U console and the types of games that will be available for it will be helping me decide as the years go by. What I am really hoping for are more games that are just fun to pop in and play. I also would like to see cool integration between the Wii Remote and Wii U controller. My highlight of the Wii U promo was the golf game concept. It starts at about 1:19

It could be a fantastic console, but I will have to wait and see.

I'll probably buy several at launch to resell online but I think I'll wait a bit before picking one up for personal use. I keep getting suckered into buying consoles around the launch date and I keep being disappointed with them for the first six months or so.

I'm buying it probably only after price drop. Unless it gets something really overwhelming before it.

Of course. But only if it's future proof (to some extent) and has some games I want to buy for it on release.

It's a no for me. I don't think I'll be getting any of the next gen consoles as I don't like the direction they're heading if the rumours turn out to be true. I'm moving on to PC gaming - I like to be able to keep my games, I still enjoy titles from previous generations and with PC I'm not forced to have multiple consoles cluttering up the house. Besides you can easily hook a laptop up to the TV with HDMI, get a 360 gamepad and it's essentially a console anyway. I can still play the games I bought in the '90's on a PC - I can't even play games I bought 5 years ago on Wii U. PC is the way to go - I like to have freedom and choice.

Trust me, the easiest way to get good grades when I was in High School was to know that doing so will open up more possibilities for the future. The good grades just follow right behind a good mentality and motivation. I'm sure you already know that, though :P

I hope you get your Wii U as well. It's always good to have a goal set in mind!

Exactly it will be like the wii got it and then bought an xbox a year later as it was just to weak and it had bad online.

Depends on launch titles obviously. I'll pick it up when a game comes out for it that I want.

It's easily a day one for me. I'll be in a massive lineup freezing my butt off this Novemeber if i have to. :D Honestly though, i seriously hope the Wii U will blow me away. I've lost quite a bit of interest in modern gaming(As much as I love the wii i still for some reason don't have the urge to throw in Skyward Sword or Galaxy 2 ect ect. Where the XBOX and PS3 don't interest me in the slightest.) But, it's probably because the 3DS for me has kind of taken over.

Hell, I tend to lose interest in a new console usually after it's 3rd year. I'm more excited to play the original 'NES' Metroid in the next couple of days than i am for most of my unplayed titles in my Wii and 3DS collection. :p

Does Chunk do the the truffle shuffle?

This will probably be my last console though. I prefer the classics over the new stuff anyway.

Hello again, koryz12, I haven't seen you in a while. And whether or not I'll be buying a Wii U depends entirely on E3. If Nintendo can Line up some killer games (like F-Zero, Star Fox, and something new), and the competitors don't show off something amazing (even on Pushsquare, the rumors piling up are turning me off the idea of getting a PS4), then I'll probably get one eventually. Otherwise, I'm waiting for the Wii 3, assuming it's backwards compatible.

I was busy making videos for youtube so I never had much time to come here good to see your still online.

Oh come on. If you disregard game media's, Nintendo wasn't that far behind the competition for raw horsepower until the Wii arrived. The consoles were fairly priced too (unless you meant the value of the components). :P

Anyway, I won't get the console at launch. Maybe a year after?

It's amazing how people forget the past so easily. Until the Wii, Nintendo has produced powerful consoles unless he is comparing them to the PC. Probably is because Mandoble sure does love him some PC gaming though.

As Ryno has stated, every Nintendo console before the Wii was always the most powerful console/handheld on the market. I personally don't care about all of these crazy graphical bells and whistles, The Wii U will be good enough for me, since Nintendo are absolutely amazing and getting the most out of their little machines since they're absolutely 'king' when it comes to art direction.

Besides in this day and age, I'll take innovative gameplay and new gaming experiencies via controls over extremeZ Graphical power. I mean honestly, how much more powerful will gaming be after this upcoming generation? I'm more interested in freakin virtual reality, and whatever Nintendo will eventually do with it.

I'm no graphics whore by any means, but i'll admit i'm very anal when it comes to picture quality and sound. I have to get the most out of my consoles/TV's and audio systems.

Audio is important, it can make an experience far more immersive, 5.1 Surround sound(Dolby Digital, better yet DTS HD Master or in the wii's case even Dolby Pro Logic II) can turn your system into an audio virtual playground. Super Mario Galaxy is a wonderful little example :D

I'll buy Wii U if it has a Zelda game at launch. Otherwise, meh... And I think Zelda's doubtful, unfortunately. ;(
