I didn't think they'd be able to make the faces blend so well after seeing the e3 build. I'm impressed. they also added a few visual effects, like the part with the rhino-ish creatures running having a...I guess it's motion blur? and I think it was running at 60fps if I'm not mistaken, judging from the eshop version.

Okay new info but I was hoping for a multiplayer reveal. This seems the type of game where the straight up gameplay demos hype me up more than anything else.

This will sound like a stupid gripe, but it looks like you still won't be able to go into buildings for the most part. I get that it's not a big part of gameplay, but it just felt like an important Japanese adventure trope that was missing, and it kind of hurt the world building.

yes, and honestly it is not so hard to look better than the models in Xenoblade.... I am still looking forward for this game,even if now it seems more a Monster Hunter clone than a sequel of XChronicles.... but the characters and monsters models are a bit a let down to me..... they look something in between last ps2 early ps3 era.....

This is going to be an expanded version of Xenoblade, gameplay-wise.
Story will be different, obviously.
If the game looks like the Treehouse demo, it will be gorgeous. Not PS4-game gorgeous, but certainly the best-looking RPG to ever grace a Nintendo system.
I'm incredibly excited to see how the dolls are integrated into gameplay. I hope you can buy parts for, repair, and customize them like you could in Xenogears!

Yep, and if is as at least as epic as Chronicles, it will be a great game! Still curious to know more about the Mecha, how much are they implemented in the game.... hope for complete customization and interchangeable parts....
