yeah ok, "Main character" kinda confirms for me that there's cool partner members we'll get

So far, it looks like 3 characters are likely so far:

-Elma: lady with silver hair in the trailer who looks suspiciously like another character in the Xenosaga games...
-Girl with black hair: She could be a customized main character, but they've shown her multiple times in every trailer and even her face in this one.
-The son of Riki!: OK, probably not, but the inclusion of a Nopon is par for the course for the cute-character quota for Monlith so I'm guessing he's playable/developed.

I'm getting quite a strong Xenosaga vibe from the new videos. Still looking like a great game to me, although I'd have liked to see more Mech gameplay.

What do you guys think of the choice to pick a more Elder Scrolls style character selection instead if having a more defined main character?

I think it's fine as long as everyone else has a character.

I prefer a defined character. It helps the story in a lot of ways imo.
That character customization looks legit though. They even have classes too so hopefully Monolift Soft was able to find some type of balance between the two for this game.

Yup, it's not nearly as beautiful as it was before, definitely downgraded.

Well, remember, we didn't see any character models last year.

I don't think some people even played Xenoblade, Xenoblade's character models were worst than Final Fantasy X's. its everything else that got praise for its graphics.

They look the same to me to be honest. I think you're just judging based on the character models. This is is due 2015, so hopefully monolith will be able to "upgrade" them before the launch! The rest of the game is still gorgeous.

Honestly Monolith please do upgrade them. Not being a graphics nut, but how can a game looks like this,
