So, anyone other than me who was kinda disappointed with today's showing?
I mean, the treehouse demo is nice and meaty, but I really expected some footage of the english version at this point.
Now we have to wait til E3.
Eh, kinda expected it (no English version I mean)...but I thought this would be like a normal 30 minute Direct, with the Treehouse thing still happening after. Ah well.
Well, the entire thing was still over an hour long, so the length of it was not surprising. I kinda preferred the treehouse to be this long since the Direct itself didn't show anything new anyway.
The reason I'm disappointed about no english footage is because it makes it look like they're not confident enough to show it yet, which means they're not far enough into the localization process. And THAT means.. The game isn't coming out anytime soon. And it'll be even later for Europe since they need to translate it into like 6 different languages first. -.-
To bad "skells" already has a meaning and it aint mechs. Skell definition per Wikipedia: Skell, as a stereotypical or archetypal designation, refers to a person who is homeless, vagrant or derelict. It is often used to connote such a person who is habitually engaged in small-time criminal activity, especially by one working as a con artist or panhandler.
To blessed to be stressed.
80's music makes me feel fabulous.
What Would Duane Do? Rynoggery

They should have used an entirely new word, like 'doll', amirite?

It's still miles better than dolls.
I prefer 'flying homeless people,' myself.
I think the mechs' main purpose is to ask people for spare change.

To be fair, humanity could be considered homeless in this game, and since the Growth(or Prone now apparently) are trying to wipe them out you can say that they consider them vagrants or criminals.
Kinda reminds me of multiplayer Mario to be honest.
Also, I think the lack of a release date probably confirms my earlier prediction this'll be a holiday release. It if was summer, they'd almost definitely have announced it already.

Mario Galaxy X confirmed.
Anyway, either that or they just wanted to wait until e3.
