For sure! My family still play our copy of Nintendo Land. Our favorites are the DK, balloon fight, Luigi, and Animal Crossing.....probably the Animal Crossing is our favorite. I really never thought of a sequel until checking this post and I think some others have already posted some great ideas. The most intriguing of all IMO is offering them as DLC individually. Maybe Nintendo offers the hub world and 1 game for free, kind of like the original Family Game Night on Xbox Live. There were some missed franchises so there's definitely room to grow for Nintendo.

Not familiar with the Xbox family game but that seems like a good idea!

I never played as long as I would have liked to, but some games are deeper than it seems. I never beat the DK one. My bro played with me both Metroid Blast and Zelda, but he quit after unlocking the extra missions.

I guess I don't play it much because the best games are meant for multiplayer, and I also hate Miis with a passion, so maybe that has something to do.

So to answer your question, I would say yes. Just don't ask $60 for it.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

Sure, it looks like a fun game but it also looks incomplete and lacks substance. They also ought to add it to the eShop, or at least add enough to it to warrant buying a physical copy. imo it's a game that fits better being eShop-only.

Except most of the games were single player...so how does this make sense?

1. Make the game HUGE. With much more games (duh) and a much wider area.

How big are we talking? Maybe a few new games with at least one from each franchise, though that may not add much more.

2. Make Nintendo Land online with Lobby system. Each lobby can accommodate up to 100 people, and people can actually INTERACT with each other via text message and able to ADD each other as friends. Meet up, walk around, go play mini-games together or chill out in favorite spots

This sounds like it will lag big time. Also, you want Nintendo Land to be like the Sims?

3. Make DLC with add on games and features. More games is always awsome right?

Doesn't #1 cover this?

4. Make some competitive multiplayer online minigames. Imagine 4v4 in Metroid Blast?

I suppose some online is good.

5.Make a better achievement system. That coin dropping and ornament collecting is god awful. What's good about an achievement when you can't show it off?

Achievements are pointless to show off, so I wouldn't really care either way.

What do you guys think? Will Nintendo ever make an update to Nintendo Land?

No I don't.

There are only 5 single player games out of the 12. Yes I count the crash course as multiplayer-kinda game since another person can help you. Although you can play alone in some of the multiplayer games, but it is just extremely dry if you do.

No I don't.

1. One franchise does not really mean 1 game. Could be multiple games from a franchise?

2. Will it lag? I'm not a tech specialist so I'm not totally sure. How is hanging out with your friends in the "Nintendo Land" meeting up and go play games make it similar to sims? Is monster hunter frontier sims? But mixing the Sims formula into the game would be awesome imho.

3. What I mean is after the game is released, Nintendo will continuously put out extra games for DLC.

5. Wattttt. Okay maybe I'm a little show offy.

This game always gets played whenever I have friends over, so I would definitely say yes! It has such great concepts for minigames! Mario Chase is great fun for when you and your friends are drunk ^^

I played mario chase with my dad once and he actually shouted "STOP AND LET ME CATCH U". Note that my father is a very serious person who do not game at all and this is why I love Nintendo so much. They make genuinely fun games that anyone can enjoy!

As mentioned above, it is not what Nintendo needs and it probably would not sell. I wouldn't mind them doing some DLC additions, but would otherwise want them to put resources toward something new..

Metroid Blast is fine single player so is Pikmin Adventure, Crash couse to be honest is single player with a weak mutiplayer al la Super Mario Galaxy so that makes 8 perfectly playable single player experiences out of 12.

Like I said, some of the multiplayer games can be played alone but it feels very dry compared to local multiplayer with friends in the same room. I find it much more fun playing crash course with my wife rather than me playing alone. However that is my sole opinion so it may differ from your perspective.
