@Tsurii: Yeah I have Wario Land so I know what you mean. They need to take the character back to his early days and undo a lot of the changes since then, I agree. They did get a lot of the art right with Shake It which is probably the main appeal. I think WarioWare Smooth Moves was an incredible game but you can't possibly replicate that... it was the ultimate demonstration of the Wii remote and we're way past that now. I love the zaniness but it really cemented his character as annoying.
I liked the 2D Wario Land games, Wario World was ok but didn't do much for me. Wario Land 3 is my favourite, I enjoyed revisiting the levels and finding all the different treasures.
