Topic: Wind Waker HD: Same ole crap - How about a NEW Zelda?

Wind Waker is a decent game dont get me wrong, but this is why I hate Nintendo. Instead of creating a new game, they spend all this time remastering an old game, when they could be utilizing these resources for something new. Wii U's library is pretty sad as it is. People want something new, not the same thing they could get on a system you could buy for $25

Calm down dude. This remake didn't take much time or money. It was done as something to tide over the Zelda fans and keep them occupied while they work on the real next Zelda.

And no kid these days is gonna go out of their way to find a Gamecube and a copy of the original Wind Waker. This remake will help the younger audience experience this classic, just as Ocarina of Time 3D did.

Nintendo already said an original Zelda game for the Wii U is being made...in case you haven't noticed, Wind Waker hD is sort of a "experiment" for the new Zelda game. (I think it was the same for OoT 3D)

Wind Waker had areas that needed improvement; this fixed those problems.

A HD Zelda game is better than nothing until the Wii U Zelda game. Which someone else has pointed out, it has been improved in places, it does look good.

But yeah In all seriousness. Wind Waker HD was a testing ground for making up a new Legend Of Zelda which will change up the game forumula and all that other stuff, it was announced a bunch of months ago before Wind Waker's Release. So yes. Your patience shall be rewarded.

It was already stated that the team working on WW HD was a small team, and most of the team is working on the new Zelda. WW HD was also used to test things.

Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD was made to hold Zelda fans over for the brand-new upcoming Legend of Zelda game for Wii U and was made as a treat for fans of the Wind Waker series (consisting of Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks). Plus, there is a brand-new Legend of Zelda game in the works that has already been announced and is coming out in exactly two months. It's called Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Look it up.

Just be patient. Nintendo will announce the next Legend of Zelda game for Wii U in time. For now, be happy with what you've got: a brand-new Legend of Zelda game for 3DS and a remake of one of Link's better outings.

As others have stated, they're already working on a proper Zelda U game. In the meantime, if WWHD doesn't interest you, no one's forcing you to buy it. :3
