As we have seen so far on trailers we have mostly seen call of duty and batman and other shooting games. people are starting to think that most nintendo franchises will be removed but we did hear about 3 nintendo games that are coming to wii u mario, zelda and pikmin. so what do you think?

No. Then Nintendo would not be Nintendo anymore. Those series are needed for Nintendo to survive as a console making company.
And I honestly doubt Nintendo thinks getting rid of the series that makes them who they are is a good idea.

For starters, Batman is not a shooter. Secondly, neither CoD nor Batman is made by Nintendo. I really don't see what they got to do with anything. Nintendo hasn't announced a whole lot of Wii U games yet — why exactly is this a surprise? You think Nintendo are just going to announce every game they got working on for the Wii U? Of course, not. Such stupidity.

That was because nintendo was on the fence about showing the wii u at all last e3. And of all the games why Batman(which isn't even remotely a shooter) Mario is HUGE along with Zelda,MK,Metroid, and other IP's. They won't stop making new entries because of Batman. Plus If the Wii U got rid of franchises and would hardly be a nintendo console. Wait until E3 before making wild assumption. Also, Hello to you @Mariokartwii1 seeing as you just joined.

Well you may (or may not) be up to something. Nintendo makes multiple games, some characters don't get a chance to adventure (Samus on N64, Kirby on Gamecube, Captains Olimar and Falcon on Wii) However, they also try their best to bring new and possibly better games.
Also we might NOT see Metroid in a while, due to the sales flop of Other M. But who knows exactly. Maybe Retro wants to make another Metroid game, or trilogy.

Seriously? What a ridiculously stupid thing to say. Sure, we could see more of the sorts of games that you might not expect to see on a Nintendo console but there's no way that we're going to see less of Nintendo's existing IPs. The Wii U wasn't even ready to be shown at e3 last year, the only reason it was shown was because of the decreasing third party support for the Wii. That's why barely any games have been shown for it. There will be far more games shown for it at this year e3.

Theres no way that the Zeldas, Marios, Metroids, etc won't be on the Wii U or that Nintendo will give up on them. Nintendo always has and always will have their francises. Thats who they are and what makes them great and stands them apart from other companies.

I dont know why people are thinking that but i they are they are fools. Nintendo would not get rid of most of there franchise otherwise they would not be nintendo they would just be another sony or microsoft

"Batman and other shooters" is what we call in English a reference error. The proximity of "other shooters" to "Batman" implies that you are including Batman in a group of shooters. The use of "other" also implies that you are referring to a game you have already stated in addition to "other" unnamed games. Example, I like chocolate and other flavors of ice cream. If I said this you would assume I meant chocolate ice cream, but maybe I meant to refer to chocolate bars in addition to ice cream in general. However, in context, it would mean chocolate ice cream. So yes, saying "Batman and other shooters" does in fact mean that you stated Batman was a shooter because of the context of the sentence, even if that was not your intent. FAIL.

And I have met none of the people who supposedly think nintendo will stop making mario and zelda games. I want some of what you're smoking.

I think it was proven with Wii that "hardcore" gamers don't buy original IPs on Nintendo consoles.
