If you ask me,he should just make a NEW franchise for once.

I hope he gets to make it. I am not an FPS fan but most FPS games all feel so much alike I just get bored. Miyamoto would not settle for anything less than originality, and whatever he makes could bring new life to the genre.

Let me put it this way: I never would've thought Miyamoto could make a real time strategy game... and then he made Pikmin. Nothing like what I would've expected when thinking of an RTS. Who knows what a Miyamoto FPS would look like. I'm sure it will be beautiful, though.

@Drobotic He's Miyamoto, everything he makes is perfect! :D
But he'll probably have some new franchise during the wiiu's lifespan, after that f-zero. :*

Maybe a tie-in with an anime franchise but with "powers" that keep fiction in the realm of believability. A mech-based series but with attributes seen in the likes of the Battlefield series... of course, this would be crafted in such a way to not feel like every other fps :)
