I wouldn't bet on it either. I think the game is pretty near perfect as it is and that it doesn't really need any add-on content.

I would rather see Retro start work on their next game than make DLC for a game which is already near perfect, but anything is possible I guess.

Me too, that is why I would pass the DLC to Monster Games (Donkey Kong Country 3D) it is just an idea

They can't add DLC to Tropical Freeze until I got 200%, which will take quite some time.

IMO, just adding levels as DLC would ruin the original Tropical Freeze game. The over-all design in Tropical Freeze is so well made and tight (such as the DKCR progression story on world 6). And the music is so tightly integrated with the level design, so there needs to be new music if a new DLC story would be available.

Games like Sonic Lost World and Mario 3D World are probably more suitable for DLC. But Tropical Freeze is such a fantastic platformer.

I think Retro is too sick of the backlash to make it. Or is too busy trying to make more than 1 game in 3 years (hopefully).

Probably not. Game doesn't need any and I'd rather RS completely focus on their current project to release it ASAP.

I totally agree this is a fantastic game as it is but I think of they added online co op that would have been even better.

I doubt it, but I would buy it if it were available. I'm the Relic levels now. I have everything collected up to that point.

I'm pretty sure it'll get DLC in one year, I also have this theory that'll year of Diddy kong will happen(DKC anniversary) and DLC will be on DKC TFand it will change the name to DIDDY KONG COUNTRY TROPICAL FREEZE!

I could see DKC: Tropical Freeze getting DLC that offers new items and perhaps new playable characters.

Which begs the question, how much would people pay to play through Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze as Funky Kong?

I haven't heard anything and would be surprised if it happened.

What does this have to do with the game getting DLC or not?

I know Diddy has a clothing line that's pretty popular, more or less gave up rap for it, maybe Nintendo could have DLC caps and Hats for Diddy and company to wear in the game.

Ok to give you an actual reason on the lack of DLC is probably the fact that this game didn't sell very well and DLC would just be a waste of time if nobody will buy it.
