Saying CoD's as team driven as Battlefield is a joke, I get first in damn near every game and win without communicating at all, lol. The game is a breeze for me, as it was made to be. Its an arcade pick-me up game where you can just pick it up and pwn. More luck based than skill. And Medal of Honor and Battlefield doesn't release installments every. single. year. now do they?

Obviously you've never played a Call of Duty on any system other than Wii. But I totally agree, Wii's community is lacking in the skill department. And it's luck? How so? Please elaborate on how Call of Duty takes luck to win.

Also, since 2008, there has been a Medal of Honor/Battlefield released every year except for the year 2009. But here's the catch: Both Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor were released in the year 2010. So yeah, every year.

Just for you.

Okay.. you need to stop telling me what I do and do not do just because I have a different opinion than you... I play CoD the most on Xbox and PC. I've never owned it on the Wii.

Do you play objective based game modes? Because I'd love to see you win a match of demolition by yourself against a full party. Unless you're just exaggerating. Then I understand.

No I mainly play TD. I play other stuff like gun game sometimes, which isn't team based at all, I understand that. But I can play you sometime.

Wait, wait, wait. How can you say Call of Duty isn't team based if you've never mained an objective based mode? Team Death Match in any game takes no team effort or strategy, that's just a given.

I didn't ONLY play them, that's just what I play for the majority. And yes, I beg to differ, TD on Battlefield IS a team effort.

What? You mainly play Team Deathmatch but you mainly play objective based game modes too? Please answer my questions rather than beating around the bush.

I didn't say mainly.. I said clearly that I play TD for the majority, but it's not the only game type I play, I play em all at times. Not beating around any bush.. you're just reading too much into what I'm saying.

Yes you are. You have yet to reply to post 21 regarding Call of Duty releasing every year.

I don't know what you really play but if you actually played team based game modes you would know how wrong you are.

Right, TBD, I don't think this is going anywhere. I'm sure we both could do this until the end of time but I don't think we're seeing eye to eye no matter how hard I try.

The Wii version of COD's features virtually no teamwork even in the team based modes. From what I remember, everyone just ran around spraying MP40's and P90's at each other. Maybe that was down to lack of voice chat I don't know but even when that was implemented, everyone sounded like they were communicating through a sock.
Battlefield is a different animal. It has slower pacing and it's much more strategic and tactical with teamwork being absolutely crucial in it's team based modes. I'm not really a fan on the genre but Wii U obviously would benefit from having them available.

Because I have an opinion but you're intent on "converting" me? I don't mean this to be mean, but I don't care what you say man, we don't think the same way and we won't. Fact is I prefer Battlefield, no reason to argue with me about what is my personal choice. I believe a certain way and I'm just voicing what I think, you can do the same, but don't tell me my opinion is wrong because an opinion can't be wrong, it's different to every person. And Sorry BlackDragon, not arguing even though it sounds like that, I have nothing against Cactus, but just accept I think differently and CoD isn't my fav. And okay I'd admit you're right about MoH and Battlefield but they don't feel as copy and past to me, it's just my opinion, take it or leave it. You're allowed to say you have a different opinion but don't say I'm wrong because what's wrong to you might not be wrong to me. I'm done going on about this though. Story short, Wii U better have Battlefield 4... CoD is feeling so bland to ME. :D BO2 feels the same as the rest, getting old.

To be honest, I totally agree with Treverend. When Battlefield do everything to comfort the players by team play, Cod tries to make the fans happy doing infantry and solo (solo even online). They are two different games, with two different concepts. However, I feel like Battlefield do more for their fans, and are not just milking money by releasing games year after year which reminds me of patch. Battlefield made a new engine, and cod? Well, I think they're still stuck with the same engine as in cod4. What Cod has done different from last games is just enough to call it a new game and not a patch. Battlefield has several years of experience and it shows up well.

I miss Japanese games, the good stuff... Games that are imaginative, have good and unique gameplay, a great soundtrack, and replay value.

I'm just pointing out that Call of Duty takes as much team work to win as any multiplayer shooter out there. Whether you have the courage to admit it or not.

Whether I have the courage to admit it or not, I don't. If I had agreed I would admit it of course, but this isn't about whether I have courage. The problem in Call of Duty is maybe not whether the team win or not; it's about the k/d-ratio. That is what I didn't like playing cod back in the days. People didn't care about the team. "So what if the team loses? My k/d was 5!"

And I also disagree when it comes to what u say: "Call of Duty takes as much team work to win as any multiplayer shooter out there". Ehhh, no... It is soooo much easier to make the team win by yourself. You can do all the work, which is nearly impossible in Battlefield. Nuff said.

Have to agree with ahaug1. We just have all came to different conclusions, nothing wrong with that, you are free to like Call of Duty and and vice-versa. No one is really wrong or right, it's just a matter of taste.

Team work helps in COD's objective based modes obviously. It's still not a teamwork focused game.
COD is made for people to pick up and play, regardless of skill level.
You could say to compared to BF2/3, COD has virtually no team work. In BF you have teams, split into squads that can spawn on each other. You have classes dedicated to support. Soflams to help other players lock on. Spawn becons. Vehicles without weapons that act soley as people movers.
In BF, you need to have squads defeding bases, some attacking, some providing recon, some providing airsupport, some anti-air etc. etc.

Team work in COD consits of "you take that door ill take this one" :D

Black Ops II is my first online COD since the first MW. After 10 hours multiplayer I am usually top 3 regardless of game mode. BF3 took me maybe 150 hours before I started to even feel slightly good and get to know most of the weapons, vehicles and maps.

Don't get me wrong, Im having a blast with COD, but it feels unfair to even be comparing them. BF3 is on a completely different level.
