My TV wifi (kids watching Netflix straight from TV) seems to be interfering with my WiiU wifi connection. Has anyone else experienced this?

You sure its interference and not a bandwith issue ? Like older rokus have this problem of stealing lots of bandwith. Easiest check would be to use a wired connection and see what happens.

Its more than likely a bandwith issue as Warruz has said. Does it work fine when they aren't streaming Netflix?

If you make one wired that could go a long way.

Beyond from that there are a few more options depending on your router such as you can prioritize certain programs or devices. Also if your tv supports 5ghz band it could alleviate it.

Third would be to use a more efficient streaming device then your tv.

My set up in my cable is split outside, one part going to cable box / TV and the other going to a wireless router. Can I split the wire going to my cable box and then directly connect my WiiU?

Woah woah woah...wait a second, what do you mean by Roku? My dad has a "roku" (It's not a TV) which we use to watch TV on. I've been having some problems with my Wii Classic Controller Pro when I play Brawl. I have problems, most of the times where...let's say I hold left or right and dash, it will stop in the middle of my dash and start up again (if I am still holding it)... Sometimes when I jump (by pressing X, I tap it pretty quickly) it jumps again IMMEDIATELY after that..

Before I even read your post, I figured if that Roku could be causing this problem, then I read your post and I see: ROKU. ;-; It's all making sense now...(I hope so)

Is it possible this thing could be interfering with my controller? My controller is wireless (connects to the Wii mote.)

@Orngeblu Wiimote controllers (and their brethren) use Bluetooth to communicate with the console so they are not affected by Wifi bandwidth issues.

Hmm...alright. I guess there's something wrong physically with the controller. It started day one, I should've taken it back and got another controller. >_> It's tolerable, though. It still annoying when something I didn't input physically, happen.

I had the same problem, but when I put the Wii U away from the TV, it worked fine. Just move them away from each other. Problem=Solved.
