Ok, I'm hoping someone can help me out with this. I was playing Pikmin 3 today and everything seemed fine at first. Then, Alph just started stopping. I'd be running this way or that and he'd run for a second and then just stop. It was like the gamepad's left joystick was messing up. But I played Sonic Lost Worlds afterwards and I didn't have the issue at all. In fact, even in Pikmin 3, I only had the issue while I was in the midst of exploring. Anyone experience anything like this?

Contact Nintendo, they know what to do. Probably.

I've experienced that before, though I don't think it is game specific because it also happened to me in Wind Waker HD, though it didn't in Super Mario 3D World. It may be because the control sticks are off centered. That can happen by moving the control sticks while the system is turning on, while starting up a game, and when returning to the Wii U menu. This can be fixed by pressing the home button and then, with the GamePad on a flat surface, hold down the A, B, +, and - buttons simultaneously for more than five seconds. If this doesn't fix it, there may be dust in the control sticks, so you may want to try using a vacuum to get the dust out of them. Hope this helps.
