Topic: Wii -> WiiU transfer - Error 202011

Just tried copying my stuff from my Wii to my WiiU, and everything was going fine. I prepped an SD card in my WiiU, put it in my Wii, it read it, and then read it's own system memory, and then tried to connect to the internet to do the transfer. At this point, it sits there for about 4 seconds, and then comes up with an error with the code 202011. I haven't had any success in getting past this point.

Any tips?

If your wii has been modded, that's why. But I can't say anything else

Yeah, when it comes to error codes, google is your friend.
But what TDH said, you can't mod your wii and expect it to work. You did this to yourself.

Google says it is a problem with the Wii Shop Channel, and that I should try back later. Looking around for other people with this problem hasn't been just with the Transfer apps, but happening on the WiiU's Miiverse. Maybe an overload on Nintendo's servers with everyone else trying to transfer?

Who knows? I'd try Nintendo's support site and enter the error code. Perhaps it's just a server issue like you think. iTunes says the store is unavailable so I'm checking regularly to redeem my iTunes card. Try the same.
EDIT: Hell, their site's unavailable. The servers must be overloaded.
EDIT (2): The US site's available now again.

Just tried it again, and it went through. Like they say....Patience is a virtue.

I liked the Pikmin animation though.
