I'm curious what people think we will get when/if we buy a Wii U. So, what do you guys think? Obviously we will get a Wii U, a power cable and a Wii U controller but what else?
Will the Wii U controller have a charging dock or just a basic charging cable? Will we get a HDMI cable or just a basic set of AV cables? Do you think we will get a Wii Remote and Nunchuck in the box? Will there be some bundled software and, if there is, what sort of bundled software will we get?

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"
We will get maybe -Wii U console -power cables -Wii U controller with a stylus -charging dock -HDMI cables And if we get it bundled with a game, might include another Wii controller.
Unlocked everything for Smash 3DS!

'Wii U Sports World' or some kind of similar title included.
I am hoping for the inclusion of Nintendo characters and themes which will negate the need for 'Mario Golf', 'Mario Tennis' and other Mario sports titles.
It won't contain anything they don't need to put in. Therefore, the box will contain:
Wii U console Wii U controller Charging stand (if the controller acts as a sensor bar, if not then a charging cable) Composite cable
I don't see why it should come with an HDMI cable just because it's an HD console. My PS3 didn't come with one and I only the premium 360 came with component.
However, if the console is going to be pricey then they may well add some value like they did with the 3DS and throw in an SD card and the HDMI cable. Can't see them being too charitable though. They are a business after all is said and done.
I doubt that. The 3DS only has one because it has such a short battery life time that it needs to be charged all the time so Nintendo wanted something convenient. The WiiU controller doesn't even have a processor or anything so it's battery life won't be that short so if it has a rechargeable battery it probably will use a cable.
Yep, indeed you're right. Actually, the only reason I suggested a charging dock was because it was a safer option to hold your controller while charging; I guess it's still not reason enough, lol.
I still think it'll definitely use rechargable batteries; the controller is practically almost a tablet for gaming purposes, and a handheld on its own. The Wii remote is just like a TV remote for games, which would obviously mean batteries.
Anti-static bags, styrofoam corners, piles of ad copy, a manual three times larger than it needs to be (for legal reasons), a few twist-ties, um.... what else... oh, and some nifty bit of tech that'll be gathering dust on a shelf in a few years' time. But those twist-ties will still be worth owning!
1. System 2. Controller 3. Cables (power, the color coded things, forget what they're called, bite me) 4. Sensor Bar 5. Bubble wrap (yay!!!) 6. R U Game? (...I dunno, but a disc containing all those E3 demos...) 7. A crap load of manuals 8. Spare stylus 9. Thousands of those soft foam things because they're awesome 10. Mass Effect 3 for XBox 360 for some reason

wii style console [white] screen 6.2in controller [wohoo] power chord for console batteries for controller or dock4 recharging stylus [white] sensor bar hdmi cable not included how to manuals wii u sports game
Yea honestly, I think they should include maybe an ac adaptor for the touchpad, Wii sensor bar, Wii Remote Plus, including the nunchuck this time, the basic display adaptors. I dunno about batteries, maybe the touchpad will have a lithium ion battery or whatever like the DS', or closer to what tablet phones or even the newer tablets themselves have? Though yet again another thing that kinda ticks me off, isome video I saw showing it off on YouTube, yet again no built-in ethernet adaptor?! Not that plugging in their LAN adaptor won't be a problem, but come on, Nintendo! This is kinda a waste of a perfectly usuable USB port when it could be used for other peripherals imo, as with the scenario on my PC since they seemeed to've done away with the old pin-style plugs on keyboards n mice; (Therefore my scanner has nothing, keyboard n mouse in back, webcam, USB HDD, Nintendo USB Wifi Adaptor in front, usb headset) Sorry, but ethernet is an essential must for decent online capabilities these days.
You've gotta remember that on most devices the screen is the biggest battery drain. Just look at how many extra hours you can get out of the 3DS if you turn the screen brightness down. I'd expect them to give you a bit of plastic with some contacts on it to use as a charging dock for the controller. They'll also probably give you a USB charging cradle (to connect to the dock via one of the four USB ports) and another bit of plastic to use as a Wii U controller stand.
They'll throw in a Wii U Sports/Play game that includes a few of the tech demos they showed at e3 and a few old sports games redone (like yet another golf, bowling or whatever. This would, like the stand and charging dock, be basically free to include). For that reason I think they'll have to include a Wii Remote + Nunchuck. I don't think they'll include a HDMI cable but they will sell Nintendo branded HDMI cables separately for like $50. They'll also have an "official" extended charging cable for the Wii U controller that'll cost some ridiculous amount of monies. The rest of the in-the-box stuff should read as expected.
That just reminded me of this Tiny Toon Adventures parody of SMB. "Batteries, instructions, joystick and game not included." I thought I remembered them saying the plug was also sold separately, but I guess I remember wrong. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUa5AFVxKZM Gotta make up some of the cost of the controller!
Seriously though, I'd expect it to just be console, controller, charging cable, composite AV cable, power cable and manuals (a think one for the console, and a separate one for online information. I think the Wii did if I remember right). Maybe if we're lucky a demo disc.
