I dunno if this is a taboo subject around here but I wanna just straight up ask: Which is your favorite console out of the three?
I choose the Wii U. The Gamepad makes it actually stand out from other consoles, whereas I don't see much of a different between generations for Sony/Microsoft. Also the Wii U owns the other two in exclusives. The other two are just going through the motions right now it seems, whereas the Wii U seems interested in quality and innovation. Yeah the third party support is MUCH better for the other two but I mean you can get a lot of them on PC anyways, which I assume most have if they're on here, and plus so far there hasn't been much that his impressed me that's PS4/XB1 exclusive. Also platformers are by far my favorite genre, which the Wii U will always dominate the other two with.
I know I sound like a fanboy, but that's my two cents. I have an Xbox One but honestly the only thing I'm interested in this year for it is Sunset Overdrive, whereas there are a bunch of Wii U games I eagerly await. And I'm not just some blind Nintendo fanboy, honestly besides a few exceptions I DID NOT like the Wii, but the Wii U has won me over.

Quite a difference between any old bog standard PC/Laptop that can browse the web and an actual gaming PC running games on high.
PS4: Do you like Sony's first party offerings?, as well as a wide variety of indie and third party titles, plus the best graphics of this gen? buy it.
Xbox One: Pretty much the same as the PS4 with slightly inferior graphics, and a somewhat smaller library in regards to indies, and in the future, non-AAA Japanese titles. But if you love Gears of War and Halo, buy it.
Wii U: Do Nintendo titles appeal to you more than anything else on the market? buy it
The fact that this is a one on one battle with Ps4 and Xbox one not being different enough to justify a triple threat match is all I need to say on this.

Your right, PS4/Xbox One, third party support.......Wii U, hmmm........

You make a really good point
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I am sure PS4 and Xbone will get better but I definitely think Wii U has more games that interest me right now.
That is why I own a Wii U and not one of the others yet....will probably get a PS4 evenutally in a year or two. Till then I have a PS3 and 360 to complement my Wii U and I am perfectly happy.
