Okay so here's my question. If I start playing Metroid Prime Trilogy on my Wii U, is there a way I can put the save file on a SD card and continue playing it at my dads on the original Wii? Oh, and a side note. I was playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on my Wii U and WOW, it sure does look better. Like a LOT better.

Ya you can. I know, Wii U really does make the games look slightly better compared to Wii, but not by much to be fair. I know for a fact that running my games off Wii U using HDMI does improve the video/audio. Not only that, I got a new reciever recently with upconversion video to 1080p, and my games couldn't look better. Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Galaxy look like Xbox 360/PS3 games thanks to my receiever, in terms of overall clarity. Maybe not in textures, etc. graphics, but I think you get my point...

What's this receiver you talk about and upconversion? My TV does 1080p alone, isn't that the best it can get?

You can upconvert non HD games to full 1080p. It's not running the game any more special compared to the Dolphin emulator, but I can definatley see some pretty big improvements in video quality with an upconverter. It's basically like running a DVD on PS3 that converts it up(or Xbox 360), but then the reciever filters it even more so after that to get an even clearer picture. This is exactly why I transfered my Wii to Wii U, because the Wii U gives Wii games a more definitive all in one connection(HDMI) that improves the quality overall, and keeps wires to a minimum for the better in my case. The reeciever is kinda expensive, but it has 7.1 channels of sound with pretty much every surround decoding program included, upconversion of any non HD video signal to 1080p, radio, and ipod. I would definately look into it if you have some extra cash. I paid $296 including tax for mine, which probably would have costed over a grand around 4-5 years ago, so I though it was a good deal.

There's better ones than the one I have, but those really do start to get VERY expensive. The better version of mine had networking capabilites, bluetooth, airplay for Apple products, and I think had app capability on it, but goes for over $500. I don't really need all that other stuff(even though it would be nice to have just because), but I have a pretty good setup right now. It even came with a mic you can set where you are in your enertainment area most, and it will do a sound test to optimize the speaker outputs and frequencies to get the most out of surround sound.

I'm guessing you live in U.S., so just go to Best Buy(ebay, amazon) home first. Just type in A/V reciever in the search box, and they will show up. I got the Sony STR-DH720 reciever, so you can search that instead if you want to see what I'm using in my setup. There's better ones, but this is all I could afford for now. Honestly, I've been just buying what I can afford, then when I get more money I just return stuff and upgrade with my refund money plus the money I just got.

I was doing the transfer from Wii to Wii U and it took over 10 trys and finally it went all the way to 100%. For a little while I thought all of my VC games and stuff were going to be lost in cyber space. ONe thing that really really pisses me off is that you can't copy SSBB data to another console, even if it is to another Wii. It is one of the few games that you can't. When my original white Wii broke, I got a Black one about 3 years ago and Brawl was the only game besides MArio Kart Wii that couldn't be brought over and I had to start all the way over on SSBB. what fun.....
So I am not going to start over yet again. It is a huge shame, because I'm sure that SSBB would look gorgeous on Wii U!!!
