Just wondering do any of you know if we can expect to see anymore system/firmware updates for the Wii U in the near future (if ever!)?
Seems like an age since we last got an update for the Wii U with any improvements or new features, it's as if Nintendo are leaving it as it is.
We'll definitely get a system update in the fall at least due to the Nintendo/DeNA online service. I'd guess the next one would be before E3 though to prepare us for whatever awesome things they have lined up for us then (e.g. last year had 5.0.0 a week before E3 with the very helpful quick start menu and notifications). An amiibo data storage option would be nice as you could play Amiibo Party without deleting your Smash data or maybe even that you could play without having to tap your amiibo to the Gamepad on every dice block roll.
I'm sure there will be some stability updates at some point. As for new features, we aren't going to know what they've been working on until they release them, but that depends on if they've been working on anything at all.
