Hello Everyone!

This is tough choice for me, because It's going to be my first console ever. I never had N64, GC or Wii before, but I have my one of my favorite game series on it. It's only matter of time before I get Nintendo console. I'm only afraid, that I'll not find any game that suit me besides Zelda. Now, here's my question: Should I get Wii U now, wait some time till more games will come, or skip this console and take future Nintendo console.

Please answer honestly, It's really important for me.

Get the Wind Waker HD bundle and I'd say you're good to go.

What games do like besides Zelda? But here's the reason why you should buy a Wii U.

It's pretty tough to find WWHD Bundle in Poland, if so it cost too my for me. My plan is to get Basic Version and buy WWHD later.

#Up. SSB? I heard of it, but never played. Looks good for me, but I will not find friends here, that I could play with.
Mario Series? I played one game in my childhood, but I'm not interested with that type of game, eventually Mario Kart.
I don't know rest of these games from video.

The Wii U would be a great console for you. As you didn't have a N64, NGC or Wii you'll have a huge back catalogue of games to try out (like Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Okami, Last Story, Metroid Prime 3, Xenoblade, Wii VC etc). It's also a good time to buy as it has just had a price drop and has a big run of exclusive games going into next year.

Trust me get it. There are tons of great franchises that are here or will eventually be here. And smash bros is still fun without friends.

Do you want third-party games? If you want a good selection of those than getting a Wii U would probably be a bad idea. Any home Nintendo console now a days would be a bad idea if you want third-party actually.

I have a 3DS XL and a Wii U. I play my Wii U more, honestly.
Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8 will have online, so you can play with people over the internet if no one is around to play local with.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and X(an upcoming game) seem like they would be games you like, too, since you like Zelda.

There's also Mario games, Wii games, and VC games to choose from, which include past Zelda games.

#Up Third-party games would be a nice extra feature, but I'm focusing on Wii U, because of Exclusives (Zelda :3)

It depends, I suppose. That Wind Waker Bundle is probably too good to miss if you're a hardcore Zelda fan, but other than that, I'd easily suggest waiting until the next big Zelda game is actually out. There'll be a lot more to play by then, and at cheaper prices, too.

Have no friends? Don't worry Miiverse is a fun community built in to the WiiU that is tons of fun .
Wanna play your games but a person is watching Tv? No problem. It's controller screen Off-tv function lets you play games even when another person is using the Telly.
A big zelda fan? Heh no problem. It's virtural console service lets you play games from the past and zelda games like Legend of zelda 1 and 2. (Link to the past, Ocarina of time and Majora's mask*). Well these games in brackets aren't actually available from the WiiU eshop well at least not yet. they're from a seprate eshop built in on the wiiU that doesen't allow you to use off-tv play. but it's still available Anddd thanks to the backwards compability, you can also play twlight princess and Skyword sword. 2 zelda games that were released from the wii can also be played on the wiiU.
Not to mention a ton of games that are on the way from the eShop service. A downloadable shop service that lets you not only lets you play downloadable games you can also download retail games without leaving the house.

Give the WiiU a try.

I didn't expect it, but I've gotten really obsessed with Miiverse. It's just fun to draw stuff and be part of the Nintendo community and even make some friends.

Get it. The Wonderful 101 is outstanding, if a bit hard to get used to. Lego City is surprisingly ace, and Pikmin is quite fun.

Yeah, what he said. The Wonderful 101 especially.

I foresee what you'll do there.

Another should i buy wii u thread... are they increasing or was it always like that? I cant tell because im not to long in here maybe two month.
If so is it because an rising interest in wii u? Just some thouhts from me...

@topic its difficult to tell what u like when u only tell us u like zelda but not what genres in particular. But in my opinion u should get it. Since there are enough games to play but again all depends on what u like.
Could u tell us if u have any experience in gaming? Then i must definetly mention Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate it got an hard entry but once ur into the controls its just so amazing and u will leave easily 100 hours playing this game.

If you have never owned a console before there is no point waiting just get a Wii U since your going to have quite a back catalogue. You like Zelda right? Well since the Wii U has the VC and is backwards compatible (Wii) you have access to 5+ zelda titles straight of the mark. If you get it and don't like it you can always trade it in and you'll at least have had the experience.

If you're not getting the Wind Waker version, I'd honestly consider waiting a while. In fact, I'm more inclined to recommend picking up a used Wii with Gamecube backwards compatibility, seeing as you never had an N64, GCN, or Wii. The Wii U does not have GCN support, and the Wii U doesn't natively support N64 VC games just yet, you'd have to get them through Wii mode anyways, so why not just get a Wii? That will probably last you quite a while until the Wii U gets more games that interest you, and then you'll have controllers for multiplayer.
