Hello there,

I decided that I'll be getting a Wii-U in a few days and since this is going to be my last modern video game console, I want to make the most out of this generation. So are there any titles I should consider looking at? I'm currently considering the following:
Ninja Gaiden III: Razor's Edge (really wanted to get this one for a long time, but bad review of the PS3 version put me off. Are the improvements on the Wii-U version worth it?)
Trine 2
Mighty Switch Force
Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Note that I am getting the Wii-U Deluxe version since I want the two-year premium subscription for free as well as being the only way for me to bother with Nintendo Land and it has 32 GB. Trying to keep the limit at $500, though $400-450 is preferable.

Edit: Another thing, I am trying to avoid inferior ports like FIFA '13 and Madden '13.

Any other upcoming games to keep my eye out for? I am currently anticipating Super Smash Bros. 4 and Bayonetta 2 and want to see if other games would interest me.

Also created this topic for those looking for recommendatios on Wii-U games.

If you didn't get Mighty Switch Force on the 3DS definitely get it on the Wii U. The graphics are gorgeous and it's just a fun creative and quirky little game. It might be a tad short but the speed running really adds to the replay value.
Tekken Tag 2 is a must buy if you're even sort of interested in fighting games. It's fast, over 40 characters, awesome tag feature, fun customization system , and awesome exclusive stuff like the mushroom battle thing and Nintendo costumes.

I have 2 suggestions:
1. Download Nano Assault Neo. You will NOT regret it. I am not a fan of the genre in general, but I love this game!
2. Pick a new avatar. I am the one true Astro Boy, Astor. I have also been known by the name Tobio. I do appreciate the fanfare, to be sure! XD

I need some help now. I'm assuming I can use a 3DS eShop card on the Wii U (correct me if I'm wrong.), but can I use that cash on the WiiWare in Wii Mode?

Do you like kart racing games? I highly recommend Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed. I spent over 20 hours trying to beat World Tour alone (barely touched Grand Prix) and for $40, you can't go wrong. You can try out the demo when you get your Wii U, here's my written review on GameSpot.
