Watch Nintendo just come out tomorrow whipping new fantastic games into our unexpecting faces. I certainly hope that's the case. I bet they mostly just did all the 3rd party stuff today first just to make the fellow developers happy. Then tomorrow things will really (hopefully) kick into gear!

What's missing was the surprises. The only surprise was NintendoLand - though I'm not sure if you can consider a mini game collection for a Wii branded console a surprise at this point. They should have added the Nintendo direct stuff to the main conference. They had plenty of time and there actually were some surprises in the online realm. To be honest, I'm more concerned about how accounts will work with your game purchases than texting my friends. The video chat is sweet though and has been a long time coming.

This launch seems even more rushed than the 3ds. They had way more to show for that and the 3ds came out in the spring after E3 last year. The WiiU will be available in less than 6 months supposedly.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.

I really wanted Nintendo to blow away the haters this year, but they just didn't show anything unannounced except Nintendo Land. For a new console that's bad, like Sony e3 2006 bad. I'm gonna go ahead and say I like e3 2008 more, at least it was entertaining in parts. But for some reason they've divided their conference this year into parts, so they could still impress.

I'm not convinced we will see Zelda, F-Zero etc this week. If you have those in your pocket why the hell would you spend so much time talking about crap like Just Dance, Sing and some Pac man Vs rip off. disappointing!! I mean you never know but I'm not holding out much hope. At least there may be some good 3DS games we don't know about!!

This was WII U FOCUSED. tonight and tommorow will focus on everything.

They really blew it this year and it shows that they still don't get it. All we got was 2 really good 1st party games, a couple stupid and lame casual games, and a bunch of old ports. I'm a pretty big Nintendo fan but this is looking like the Wii all over again. Just ditch the stupid controller, amp up the specs, and go after third party games, how hard is that?

Isn't that what they did?

No, they put more effort into some dumb tablet controller than they did into finally giving a Nintendo console some good third party support. By the time the next gen systems come out, the Wii U will look obsolete and none of the hardcores will care at all. They don't care now actually, after today.

And now Molyneux has talked about the next Fable. I hope it's bad. LOL JK, but seriously though, after his reaction toward the Wii U, it better be the next GOTY. Or at least runner-up

Microsoft's SmartGlass idea and Sony's PSVita-PS3 connectivity are looking at you!

It's a controller... it just happens to have a screen in the middle.
Untitled There's that too. There was no third party here at all though your absolutely right, it was all first party games.

It doesn't matter to me if it's obsolete or not, I didn't care about it during the Wii and I don't care about it now.

Yea but the cost of the tablet is taking away from potentially amping up the specs and making this thing way more viable for competition. Plus, it hasn't been shown to be of any real use other than a dumb gimmick that won't appeal to the masses like the Wiimote did. Don't you get it, Nintendo isn't going to get big third party coverage at all for this thing and it's all their fault. I realize that in the end the Nintendo fans will probably be happy with Nintendo's games but that's going to be the only company bringing good, exclusive games to the U.

The picture of the black controller? I saw that but that won't even be a pack-in. I'm not trying to start a war or anything with you but I just think the tablet should be dropped and replaced with the much cheaper traditional controller and then they could give us a more powerful console based on the money they'd be saving ditching the tablet.

Project P-100 and Game and Wario both look good too. I just hope they have at least one major (shooter?) game announcement at their roundtable tonight. With all these titles releasing during the launch window, I think it will be an excellent launch. I already have 5 or more games I want, the AAA blockbusters will come eventually. Just tell us what Retro's cooking up even if it's not coming out this year.

Or you you could just get a PS3 or Xbox 360 if you really want just improved specs.

Shakes head I find it amazing how much you people have to complain about only an hour's worth of presentation. I really hope they make you haters eat your own words tonight and/or tomorrow, because all this negativity is downright ridiculous!
