Topic: Wii U Problems! Damaged gamepad screen - Please Help!

So about a year ago I broke my Wii U Pad Screen, due to frustration. The screen still worked, as you could touch it and it would still react just as normal. But you couldn’t see anything, as it was cracked. Anyways, I managed to keep playing games that didn’t really require the gamepad screen itself, like Splatoon and Mario Kart. And now about a few weeks ago, I changed my internet password. And because of that, I have to go through my settings, and interact with the gamepad screen itself to update the new password. The problem is, that I can’t see the keyboard on the touchpad. Other than buying a new screen and/or fixing it, is there anything else possible that i can do to sign into my internet and update the password? Is there an option to switch the gamepad screen to the tv screen in the settings? Because that feature is usable in certain parts of games and apps of the Wii U. That is how I got around in doing things without the gamepad screen, I’d simply use a Wii U controller or Wii Remote and do things on the Tv screen. Please, can anybody help me?

This will sound... Cheap... But you could try printing out an image of the keyboard and putting it on top of the screen to type.

It'd need to be the correct size, and you'd need at least two (for the symbols keyboard).

Yeah, If the screen still responds you should try to MacGyver that password. Just find a picture online, and try to work off of that. Might take some tries, but is worth a shot.

Why don't you change your network password on your router back to what it was, then you wouldn't have to touch the Wii U settings?

You guys had me at blood and semen.
