After like two hours of trying to install Toshiba Bluetooth Stack (my bluetooth device isn't supposed to work with it but I edited a few files with the hardware ID of my bluetooth device ), I FINALLY got the pro controller working with my PC. I got sick of using my PS3 controller with motioninjoy (and it was difficult removing all of the files..it's a terrible program, don't use it) so I'm glad I can use the pro controller now

The program maps the buttons to keys though...is there any way I can map the keys so my PC thinks it's dinput or xinput? Are there any other programs for the pro controller out there that uses dinput or xinput? That way it would allow me to use more than one on a PC, plus I could use the analog sticks for analog movement!

Any information in this would be helpful..thanks!

By the way, I also got a Gamecube controller to USB adapter...it doesn't work as well as the program for the pro controller sadly

The 360 controller is cheaper and better for pc gaming since most games recognize it automatically. Also you dont need to worry about the battery dying.

I realize that an Xbox 360 controller is better for PC games...but I like the feel of the pro controller better. I especially LOVE the triggers (although a lot of people hate them....I can hit the trigger much faster on the pro controller than a 360 controller). The d-pad is also a million times better than the 360 controller. And the analog sticks are better in my opinion (I like concave sticks, so I've always liked PS3/Pro controller analog sticks more).

I hope that there's some way to implement dinput into the pro controller in the future..because then you can convert it into xinput and trick your pc into thinking you're using an Xbox 360 controller anyway! That's what I did with my PS3 controller.

I've been trying to do this for a little bit myself...

I have a Dell Inspiron 15z Ultrabook with Windows 8. I downloaded Smoothboard to try and help, but it won't recognize the Pro Controller and insists it is a Wiimote. Do I have to install this program?

I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite

I'm on YouTube.

I promise to not derail threads. Request from theblackdragon

No, all you need is Toshiba Bluetooth Stack and the program here: http://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-u-pro-controller-to-pc-program...
or here: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-rvl-cnt-01-tr-wiimote-mo...

If Toshiba Bluetooth Stack doesn't work with your bluetooth dongle (it didn't work with mine initially), follow these instructions: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-noob-friendly-how-to-con...

Pretty hard to unplug your bluetooth radio when it's built into the hardware...........
