Topic: Wii U Pro controller and gamepad on PC?

Can anyone link me to some good programs/drivers/anything to get my Gamepad and/or controller hooked up to my PC?

I've tried using the gamepad over wifi and that worked, but I can't use some of the buttons
I've had to success in getting my pro controller working with my PC though (it shows up in the bluetooth manager but I couldn't get it working)

I have PS3 controllers but motioninjoy is completely screwing over my PC so I tried my best to clear as much of it off my PC as possible (command lines, registry, etc.) but I think there are still traces of it on my PC which may be affecting my bluetooth

Anyway, I just want to try getting my gamepad/pro controller working on my PC so I can avoid my Xbox controllers and third party PS3 controllers if possible

I hated the pro controller at first but now I prefer it over the rest of my controllers! A USB driver for it would be preferred but I think it can only work through bluetooth for now

Anyway,I just need software or drivers to get the controllers working on my PC, thanks! (Windows 7 x64, USB bluetooth)

I think you can only do the gamepad using the javascript thing. It would be cool to actually be able to hook a gamepad up to a pc use both it's buttons and the screen. Could you imagine using the gamepad screen as a monitor for your computer? And then using the touchscreen as a mouse would be epic.

Just get an Xbox 360 controller and your problem will be solved.

Yes, because the Xbox 360 controller totally has that sexy d-pad.

You could get the updated ones with the twisty dpad. It's still not as accurate as a Nintendo dpad, but it does help fix a lot of the accidental diagonal issues that the round dpad of the originals had.

The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.

I use Wii Classic Controllers for my pc. There's plenty of good pc game controllers, so I don't think the problem is he's limited on choices for a game controller for pc. I think he would simply like to use the controller he already has for the pc, thus not having to buy a new controller. Which I understand, hence me using Wii Classic Controllers for my pc.

I already have an official wired Xbox 360 controller and an Afterglow Xbox 360 controller

You can try this for the Pro controller

That's what I tried initially, but it didn't work
However it may just be my crappy USB bluetooth dongle. I'm going to try my friend's tomorrow and see if that helps

That is correct! I have two Xbox controllers and I want to use four for my PC. I have PS3 controllres but motioninjoy pretty much ruined my USB ports and bluetooth adapter initially so I don't want to have to deal with that again. I also have a classic controller that I can use with my Wii remote. That leaves me with three available controllers to use, and hopefully i can get a fourth working without having to buy another 360 controller or something!

I don't have a Pro controller yet, but if you do get it to work, you should let us know how.

Alright, it DID work on my friend's laptop
The problem was that Toshiba Bluetooth Stack 8 worked didn't work with my bluetooth adapter

The program maps the keys on the gamepad to keyboard keys, which can be a problem depending on what you're trying to do
But I'm just glad that it works for now! I'm going to look up compatible bluetooth adapters and get one from Amazon

I'm hoping that the controller will be able to have it's own gamepad inputs on Windows soon, or at least have an Xbox 360 emulator so it will work with games that have support for that
