@nickcarney Xbox 360 has like 7 year old hardware, Wii U's graphics card is from 2009 and it's Power 7 CPU is from 2010, PLUS the tech in the controller alone probably rivals the price of all the tech in the Kinect, I think you're fooling yourself if you expect them to sell it at $250 and make money off of it. Nintendo fans really are kind of cheap... they want a next gen console under $300 when the Xbox 360 launched at $500 USD's, and the the PS3 was a whopping $600 USD's. $350 isn't asking too much for the modern chips in it and the controller.

I'm a PC player but I'll always have a spot for Nintendo. I grew up as a child as a hardcore Nintendo fanboy and I still love their games. The Legend of Zelda still gives me the magic feeling I had when I was a kid. :)

$300 is the rumored price? That's incredible. I was thinking $350, which is still very reasonable. $400 is as high as I'd be willing to go.

I've got $350 saved up. I just need to know if I can get the system NOW or if I still need to save a bit of cash.
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite

I don't give a flying SKADOODLE what it costs. I just want to know when it comes out.

Well I've paid $598 AUD for mine already so that should have it covered.
If I'm lucky it'll be a bit cheaper and I can use the rest on another game.

HOPEFULLY it will end up $300 or less. I have about $100 saved for it.

I actually would rather it be more expensive in the beginning if that means it has the hardware to compete longer. I am almost looking at $400, but I don't want them to get too ridiculously high priced or they will end up like the PS3.

I seriously doubt it will cost more than $300. If it's $250 at launch, that would be perfect.

$300 is the most I would be willing to pay for a Nintendo Wii U system.

$400 saved up. Can't wait until it's announced.
I don't think $250 is gonna happen. I think $349.99 as mentioned earlier (or perhaps in another thread) is more likely. It seems reasonable when you think about everything going into the system and the fact that there is almost no way the PS4 or 720 could match that and be DRASTICALLY better than the PS3 and 360 and Wii U at the same time without selling at a loss.

At the very least it will be $299.99, at the most $399.99 (US). If I had to say an exact price it would be $349.99.

I'm thinking somewhere around/between $250-$400 as well. I'm hoping to get it for Christmas, if not, then I get it whenever I can afford to do so.

I also believe a 350 price point... I remember when I bought the wii for 250 but ended spending about 400+ becuase of all the accessories I had to buy and Wii sports I believe as well...
So, In reality, If you bought a Wii near or at launch you spent at around 300 to 400 for everything...
