Topic: Wii U or VITA?

I know this is a forum on a Nintendo dedicated site, but i am really unsure about which system I should pick up this holiday season.

I am an all around gamer, and even though I am more of a Nintendo fan, there are a ton of VITA games that interest me.

I plan on getting both systems, but I can only afford one this year, and the other will have to wait until sometime next year.

So the question remains: should I get a Wii U, or a VITA?

WiiU. Odds are, you will see a wiggler in NSMBU.

WiiU. I bought the Vita recently, there are a few good games on it but ultimately I've been disappointed by the lack of games. Spend your money on WiiU, there are tons of great games coming out, all before March. Vita is also much more likely to get a price drop than the WiiU is. If I were you I would pick the Vita up next year alongside Tearaway, that game looks awesome. All that being said, Sony will be at TGS, there may be some major Vita announcements there, who knows. Still, any games they do announce likely won't come out until this time next year so I would still say WiiU now, Vita later.

Vita is a big sexy portable with harcore games, unlike the Wii U.

You should probably just get whichever one will have enough good games to hold you over until you can afford the other one. On launch the Wii U will have around 10 games...so it look's like Vita's a no-go.
Honestly though - just decide which which entertain you more until you can afford the other, and you should probably go with the Vita now in case the Wii U does actually have a price drop.

erm either untill they both get a good game but right now wiiu going to get zombiu pikmin 3 and bayonettea 2 vita persona 4 disgea and thats it so right now wiiu

First of these threads always end up becoming a huge flamefest so just a warning there you may not get the answer you are looking for.

Second there is a thread here https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/general_discussion/univers... for a recommendation of systems that honestly you have a better chance of getting a serious answer out of rather than making a thread like this.

The Vita. It's a better system than anything else out there at the moment and the lack of games thing is a myth.

Which one has the more games that interest you? Vita? Then Vita.

The real answer is still PS3 but sure, Vita. Just make sure to make the world a better place and get Gravity Rush and New Little King's Story.

No, just that people (gamers) tend to over-exaggerate and act like little children over trivial things (see also: Bayonetta 2).

There's a fine range of Vita games - why, I've got 20 or so already, and it's a clear case of quality > quantity.
