Have to say while they did announce a lot its pretty obvious that internally Nintendo is struggling with HD development while also juggling 3D handheld deving. Hopefully the expansions they are making eases that problem.
The SMT X FE caught me by surprise. I first thought they were going to drop a P5 bomb.
WAT!

Okay, here's what I'm excited about:
Yoshi's "Epic Yarn".
I was right all along when I said Smash Bros. would be shown at this year's E3. At least now I know not to talk about it until then (still will anyway).
The Fire Emblem crossover with Shin-something (never heard of the series) looks interesting.
Of course the Legend of Zelda both new and WW HD.
The obligatory 3D Mario and Mario Kart (also E3 reveal).
Bunch of other stuff I can't remember off the top of my head.
Is it just me, or is this E3 going to be freaking awesome?
It's really clever played, this years E3 will likely see the unveiling of the competitions consoles and while they might have (im just suspecting this) the new hardware with some lackluster launch lineup (more on that in a second) nintendo has the headstart on their PRO-side because they can already come out with the real heavy hitters and fire out of all cannons.
Regarding the launch lineup of the new consoles, I don't follow Sony too much but the rumors about the next XBOX' launch lineup spread quite rapidly nowadays and if it is true it might be the best launch titles ever (if you're into that kind of games):
Forza 5
Halo 5
Crysis 3
and some other stuff I can't remember.
So I will watch in joy when Nintendo goes up against those heavy-hitters to steal some (hopefully the majority) of the gamers-attention with their first party behemoths.
I can only DREAM about the new smash brothers + it's integration into miiverse!
I thin shortly after the inevitable price drop around E3 Ill finally grab my Wii U!

Top 5 Indies I'd recommend you try: #1 Lovecraft's Untold Stories, #2 Moonlighter, #3 Hotline Miami, #4 Inside, #5 Into the Breach.

Crysis 3 will be on every system. Forza and Halo are a given. I really don't see what's so exciting about that. Xbox just has the worst exclusives of the big 3. I hope they can match the hype of the Xbox 360 announcement though. That was an awesome show.

Lol What
Halo 4 came out about 3 months ago. They already said Halo 5 is as far put as the next mainline Zelda due to building it from the ground up. Its also one of the reasons for the spartan ops mode.
The next xbox launch like line up is looking more like. .
Alan Wake 2
Forza 5 by Turn 10 or PGR5 by Lucid Games
The new game by black Tusk
Ryse from crytek
Something from Rare
But who knows a few months ago I though pikmin would be launch ready.

The only downside to this is, there probably won't be anymore exciting NDs (aka revealing new games and such with trailers and general shock and awe) until E3.
Well, I guess the next 3DS focused one could.

@WingedFish I found the only downside to the ND is that now it'll take what will seem like YEARS for E3 to happen!
Which is why it helps to have hobbies beyond gaming to help cope with the wait. (Finding a job and preparing to have backyard chickens are my examples).

So, did no one see Monolith Soft's trailer for the new project titled X? Looks absolutely beautiful and gigantic. Most likely a new Xeno game, no telling if sequel to Xenoblade or if it's another Xenosaga or gears.
That was massive. I was grinning and talking to the TV like a fool. Wii U is my first launch day console and it's quite exciting seeing these things develop. I don't think there was a game previewed that I'm not likely to buy.
Personally I don't see a problem with the lack of 1st party titles thus far; it give the indies and 3rd parties time to have the spotlight and after past complaints about Nintendo that can't hurt. Of course their expanded partnerships mean that a lot of Nintendo published titles are going to end up looking more like 3rd party releases anyway. It's almost like Nintendo is playing Godfather of Gaming by bringing these other studios into their house by supporting projects that might otherwise have gone unfunded. I have to think that would be a better experience than Infinity Ward's following the Activision acquisition...
Anyway, some more posts and then I'm playing the Cave demo and downloading Balloon Fight!
