Topic: Wii u microphone

i was wondering if it is possible for a usb mic to work for games that support voice chat.

I doubt it as there is a built in Microphone on the Gamepad.

I would only assume a headset mic connected to the Gamepad would work with a game unless it specifically stated it supported USB microphones. I think the only games that use a USB mic are Joysound Karaoke and that other singing game (Wii Sing U?).

Yea I don't get why if the gamepad has a mic....
We can't use it to talk in games like COD or AC.

Why Nintendoz you no let me use mic on gamepadz? Me confusedid....

That's more about the devs not including support for it than Nintendo, surely? I mean I could use it with Trine 2 just fine, though I will say that I found using my iPhone earphone/mic combo worked a lot better due to less background noise interference.

The mic is not for speaking, It's so you can blow air into it like in SM3DW!
