So, about 2 weeks ago I put my Wii U to display on my monitor screen instead of TV because my TV needs the screen resize feature which causes some input lag (noticeable in smash bros). My monitor does offer a full display and even a game mode (less input lag ). I was really happy with the change but today I downloaded StarFox64 from the Wii Shop and tried it our for a couple of minutes. I proceded to go back to the Wii U menu and all the colors were pink/greenish. i have read a couple of posts about this problem, caused by some displays. However I had only seen it happening on the wii menu and not the wii u one. Anyway, I also tried with metroid prime trilogy (which launches from the wii u menu) and the display first went all black but then it came back normally. I then pressed the home button to return to the wii u menu and the same thing happened... Pink/greenish colors all the way.
Now I've reconnected everyhting back to my TV and the problem doesn't happen. Note that this is a fairly old tv and there's no game mode.
Any solutions you can think of for the monitor screen? Is it possible that the game mode causes it?
