Guys, just fix your internet for crying out loud. You can't blame your connection to servers on the Wii U if your internet is crappy in the first place. That's completely avoiding the real issue.

No changes here. The online for my Wii U was perfect before, super fast, and still is.

A lot of people find it more fun to play the games available on the Wii U on their PS3 for a tenth of the price.

All was working fine before the update, i didnt change anything on my router or my Wii U confg, all the problems start after the update. is nintendo fault just like the last update on the 3DS, some ppl cant enter the eshop or even update the 3DS but nintendo fixed, hope they fix this one too really fast.

Don't get me wrong. I understand mistakes can happen from Nintendo, but it sounds more like your settings weren't optimal in the first place. What settings are you using, if any on your router?
I've had connection problems, too, but it's never a problem I can absolutely blame on Nintendo. Just restore your router to default, upgrade the firmware, and reconnect.
I've seen way too many complaints about the same things every week, and they could be easily fixed if you internet is setup, right from the get go.
I haven't touched my router in 3 months. The last time I went into router settings was to upgrade the firmware, which didn't need to be updated anyway.

I did that already, erase all the confg on the Wii U and make a new, i have a wireless and a wired using the oficial Wii LAN adapter and in both confg i get the same problem, my ps3, 3DS and Wii work fine is just the Wii U and like i said before all the problems start after the update, i cant even see the mii under the MH3U logo in warawara plaza.

I noticed that too, the Miis in the WaraWara Plaza with Monster Hunter posts don't seem to know where they should go, so they are just everywhere.

@alexneon
You have to change the ROUTER SETTINGS ON THE ROUTER. The Wii U is not your router.
I would be able to fix your problem if I was there doing it myself. I am just trying to help you fix it since I am not there.
Trust me, I've dealt with router problems before, and it is not Nintendo's fault. The difference is that Nintendo consoles are picky if your router isn't working at maximum potential. If you can get your Wii U to work on your internet, I can guarantee you won't have any internet issues with any device.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Go to your router. Look up your IP address. Type you IP address into the URL bar in your internet browser ON A PC.
You should see your router settings. Login to your router which will need the correct admin name and password if applicable. Restore to factory settings. Wait for it to reset, then upgrade the firmware in the router settings. If your router is older, you will need to search for the firmware manually using an internet seach engine. Update the router and let it reboot. DO NOT CHANGE THE SETTINGS LIKE PORT FORWARDING, DMZ, ect.
After your router is working 100%, reconnect your Wii U to the router. Your internet problems should be fixed.

@Scar392
I don't think the issues are with the router as they weren't having the issues until after the update. I'm having similar issues, except it only seems to be effecting MH.

Unless his router is old, he shouldn't have any problem fixing this. The Wii U with the update applied is apparently more demanding of his router. I already know this issue is fixable.

Ya i can play MH3U online but get error code 102-2128 a lot and get the same error code when i try to enter the eshop too, i can use miiverse, youtube app and the others without a problem, i call a friend to see if he can come over my place with his Wii U, i connect it and it works fine with MH3U and eshop but he cant see the miis under the MH3U logo on warawara plaza either, i ask him if he can see them when the Wii U is connecte on his place and he say no, he have the same issue like me in warawara plaza, again...nintendo´s fault, i enter miiverse MH3U community and a lot of ppl are having the same issue on warawara plaza and the MH3U logo

It's not Nintendo's fault. If you make your router work like it's supposed to, then you shouldn't have any problems.
If you are getting at least 7mb/s for your router. There shouldn't be a problem unless your router settings are out of whack somehow. I tell this to everyone, but instead of fixing it, they just keep complaining about how Nintendo's servers suck.
It's up to you. Set up your router correctly, or blame Nintendo when it's not their fault. Your choice.

It's ultimately up to you and your friend whether you're willing to deal with subpar internet. Like I said, I've had the same issues before, but I was able to fix them.
Did you even try fixing your internet at all?
It might depend on where you live or your service, too, but in the end the internet is just a cord. The router is basically an amplifier to enhance capabilities that are already present in the cord.
Nintendo updating the system can cause compatibility issues, but they expect you to be able to keep up with maintaining and updating your gadgets for good service.

I gave details in a post above.
Reset your router to factory settings, update the router, and don't mess with port forwarding, DMZ, etc. settings to make your device simple.
If you optimize your router and your still having issues, than it might be your internet service provider. There is also a chance that it might be Nintendo, but you have to do what you can before claming it's Nintendo's fault.
I've had my internet completely not work for my Nintendo devices before, and on occasion other consoles as well.
I was able to fix my internet. No complaints.

I've also noticed the system can hang for a bit if you close one app then immediately try to launch another. It hasn't made the system completely freeze for me though. My console hasn't done that since the second patch was released last December.

I haven't had a single connection issue or freeze after I got the update (and I've been busy with the rayman online challenges), but I am experiencing the same Wara Wara plaza problem with another game, so I think they are not related. Since the first daily Wara Wara update after updating OS (Friday night) until now, Miis from the Rayman challenges app wont appear below their corresponding icon in Wara Wara plaza, they get all over the place (in the same way Miis from people you follow in Miiverse appear scattered). I don't see why this could be network related, its more like the update messing with your "Now playing:" game on Wara Wara plaza.
