So I have an HDD for my Wii U. A couple weeks ago the internet stopped working on it, but I unplugged and re-plugged my HDD into my wii U and the internet worked fine. Fast forward another week or two, and I'm having the same problem, but now it happens every day or two. Now I have to either unplug my HDD entirely to play a certain game online, or I have to go through the hassle of unplugging the HDD, booting up the system, turning it off, plugging it back in, and then booting the system up a second time. This problem has just started happening even though I've had this HDD for the Wii U for over half a year. Can anyone please help?
I shouldn't think a hard drive would interfere with your internet unless there was a problem with the disk itself causing a general hang to the machine. You hear any grinding noises coming from the disk? You using wi-fi or the USB LAN adapter?
