We know more about the VC than you seem to be aware of. There will be a Wii U VC, it will have GamePad support, it will be on the eShop, it won't be in Wii Mode and it will include GameCube support. All of these things have been confirmed or at least very, very strongly hinted at by big Nintendo execs.

What's not confirmed is what titles will be available, what the prices will be, what consoles will be supported and whether or not Wii VC titles will transfer over. We also don't know exactly how they will play in terms of software like save states or other tiny details. All we know is that it's a thing really.

I'm guessing the games already on the Wii one would stay the same when on the Wii U VC tbh. However I'd love to see more N64 games added. As for the Gamecube games I hope it is only 1000 points ($10) Is $10 too cheap for GCN games? The Gamepad support will be nice tbh. Loving how I can switch from the tv to the Gamepad

I bought mine only for exclusives or more to the point, Mario and Zelda. Gathering dust was an inevitable part of ownership for me especially as Mario was a launch title.
I'd buy more VC games but I hate having to go into Wii menu and I'm worried Nintendo will pull a clanger and not transfer Wii shop purchases to the Wii U eshop when/if the VC comes out on Wii U.

The launch lineup was pretty decent imo. but there are several cool looking third party games that, as of yet, are not coming to wii U.
I think Nintendo is holding back the big games till e3 to combat the announcement of the PS4 and/or Xbox 720.
I just hope the wii u doesn't end up under powered compared to the competitors like the wii.

Wow. Gathering dust already? You guys must not be using it right.

I foresee what you'll do there.

WiiU will be under powered. Then we will not receive as many cross platform games because they'd have to scale them down like they had to do with Wii if they wanted to.

Couldn´t have disagreed more. two weeks before i got my Wii U, my kids destroyed my new Ps3, and under normal circumstances i would have freaked out, but my Wii U has saved me. I don´t give a rats ass about any other console anymore, (except Nintendo consoles).
I´m having fun with Sonic racing, Tekken,Darksiders,Nano assault, Warriors Orochi, and don´t forget about Nintendoland. +++ (Bought all games there is available in Norway)

So dear fellow Nintendo fan, i feel sorry for you if you´re not having fun with your new console.

No, they'll be lazy. They don't want to have to do any hard work to port a game over so they'll stick w/ 360 and PS3

The reality is PS720 will just get straight ports of WiiU games for the first 3 years because there is no point in risking going bankrupt just so 100 people can buy their game when they can already sell to the higher WiiU install base and actually make a profit with the old switcharoo reversal of whats goin down at the moment.

Yes, I've been following VC news since 2006, so I know about the "hints" of a Wii U VC, and I agree that there will definately be something of a VC eventually, but I need more specifics before I invest in a console.

Did you get ZombiU? If not, I would recommend you pick that up and try completing it on Survival Mode...that may hold you over until Bayonetta 2 and Rayman Legends release. Also, Trine 2 on the eShop has given me nearly 20 hours of gameplay so far, and I haven't finished it yet. Black Ops 2 runs well online, and the multiplayer is a lot of fun. Nintendo Land is enjoyable in short bursts for me, really enjoyed Metroid Blast so far and Battle Quest.

About to start playing some Rabbids LAND to try it out, an Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, as well as NSMBU...my problem right now isn't a lack of games, but making time for them all!

My Wii U definitely isn't gathering dust. It's rarely not in use.

Pikmin is a popular gaming franchise for Nintendo, and many people aren't buying the Wii U due to the fact that there aren't a strong lineup of good games or games that they want. What makes you think Pikmin being a launch title wouldn't have shifted any units?

Pikmin is popular, but I doubt it would've shifted a lot of units (maybe some) but not a lot

Trust me, I'm sure there are thousands of gamers holding off on buying a Wii U for Pikmin 3, but the series' fanbase is miniscule in size.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember the original Pikmin recieving the Player's Choice status on the GameCube. Though, even if it did, its fanbase hasn't grown very much since 2004's Pikmin 2 due to the lack of any given sequel on any of Nintendo's latest hardware.

Just for you.
