Topic: Wii U GamePad/ Pro Controller left analog stick problem

I have this problem with the analog stick. I have the launch model (I think it is) and I just noticed it about a week ago. I noticed it with the Wind Waker. When you go backwards (you move the stick down) Link slows down and continues until y do something else. Now with DK Country Tropical Freeze when I duck (move down the stick) DK ducks and immediately gets up and then down and sometimes he stays up!!! It's really bothering me . I reseted the the sticks pressing the A,B+,- button at the same time and it still happens. I saw online that you could also shut down the console, move the sticks around and then you turn the console on. It seemed to work yesterday (DK didn't duck in the way I explained above), but today I checked with Wind Waker, and guess what?... he was slowing down when going backwards. Also, today DK did that weird duck! I read in the Nintendo Tech Forums the Wind Waker problem, but I haven't looked up the DK one... The weird thing is that for a year I didn't notice anything, and the GamePad has never fell or smashed the floor, I've been careful with it.
PROBLEM 2: When navigating the Apps with the stick it feels like it has a mind of its own. It moves really fast all the way around. For example: When I move up and then left, it will quickly move left again and even up! What's up with this? This is something I just discovered too, maybe because I mostly use the touchscreen. Maybe it's over sensitive, but who knows.

THE PRO CONTROLLER: Since I bought the Pro Controller I have always noticed this. It's a similar problem, it isn't exactly precise when I move it down..... i.e. when I move the stick down some to duck let's say in NSMBU the character won't duck and instead move a little to the left or just stand still. It's like it has a slight inclination to the left when I move it down. Also in Tropical Freeze when I jump and then move the stick down (while in the air) DK will turn left and move a little bit. This doesn't happen with the Gamepad, though. Maybe this happens because due to the form of the controller when I move the stick down with my left thumb it moves a little bit to the left. I have tried to move it exactly down and it doesn't seem to happen, so maybe it's because of this.

Now back to the DK duck problem with the Pro Controller it doesn't seem to happen, neither does the Wind Waker slowing down problem.

Well it seems that the Pro Controller is fine, but the GamePad seems to have a little problem. I already tried removing off dust with a toothbrush and it still happens. If anybody has a suggestion or past experience please write it down!

Sorry for any spelling mistakes and thanks for taking your time for reading this.

When you turn on the Wii U, do you accidentally hold the stick down? This can set it to the wrong position.

Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?

No, I habe actually been more careful with that. I do not touch anything until the game starts.

Have you played with a side of buffalo wings? That could be an issue.

To be serious though, I don't know what the issue could be. Analog sticks get stuck with me when I play vigorously or have had the controller for a long period of time.

I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite

You have this problem on both the Wii U Gamepad and the Pro Controller? Maybe there's some interference causing problems. Does it happen when the Pro Controller is plugged into USB? (I have no idea if can even communicate via USB, but it's worth a try.)

The pro controller seems fine, maybe I'm just being OCD about it. The one that's been bugging me constantly is the Gamepad. And p, yes you can connect it through USB to the Wii U to charge it and there's no interference between the controllers and the console. I'll just live with it, or until Nintendo sells these things officially through retailers. There's no way I'm sending it for a repair because they messed up my DS Lite once, I don't live in the US , and it's not worth the wait.
