No pokemon spinoffs please. They should do a full pokemon console game... Japan would go nuts!
Edit: Although I realize that Pokemon is in large part about trading pokemons.. Well, that could still happen with 3DS integration, online play, or even NFC somehow.
actually the japanese aren't too interested in home consoles........ handhelds sell far more in japan.

Yeah I know - but I think RPGs, stuff like Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Monsterhunter, Final Fantasy, is what they love there, and is the thing that sells the home consoles they do sell.

haha. that's true. the japanese are smart I'd really love if RPGs were the popular genre here in the west!(I refuse to believe dating games are the most popular genre in japan, even though too many anime suggest they are)

Can't even pretend to be able to read that on my smart phone... From the ensuing comments, it sounds like a distillation of the menagerie of rumors floating around the last few months. Not much to say about it. (Will we ever find out where this Pokken thing originated from? It's such a strange and specific rumor... Seems there must be some smoke for it to carry on this long. I understand there is a supposed screenshot, but...)
When I look at those rumours, and let's assume they are true for the sake of argument: My concert would be that there's not one exiting announcement in there for Wii U. The only good thing in there is Metroid for 3ds.
I'd say I was worried about this, but I just can't believe it to be true because I just know they'll be making sure the new Zelda is going to look amazeballs.
There's an alarming lack of Wii U games in that list.
That's what would bother me the most about it if it were actually true. It's probably just people making stuff up.. some of it actually feels trollish, like Xenodolls / Mii SSB Characters.. It feels like it could be true because some of the stuff stated is recycled hearsay, like Pokken and the awful SSB Mii Characters. Who knows though.. I just know that if this is all they come to the table with on the next direct, Wii U wise, it'll be embarassing. They need to hit one out of the ball park.

Which makes sense. They need to work on Zelda U and you got Mario Kart, X, Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros, Hyrule Warriors coming up. It makes perfect sense to make interesting things like Pokemon X Tekken and not to bring huge franchises to the Wii U yet when it will have its hands full. It makes perfect sense to have the new Metroid and some other big games come to the 3DS so it retains momentum over 2014 with its huge install base.

I don't think MK8, Beyonetta, X and Smash are enough. They need to announce what they are working on, just to let people know these titles WILL come. If they are working on Metroid, say so, if they are working starfox, say so. That will generate buzz and get people who are considering buying the system to make the jump when those other games (MK8, Smash, Bey, X) come out.

They need to generate buzz. Not obscure spinoffs.
Agreed. People buying a PS4/Xbox have a pretty good idea that both those systems, down the line, will be getting a new GTA, Red Dead Redemption, Halo, Uncharted, God of War, etc. It's not likely the reason they bought the system now, but its nice to know that at some point, they WILL be getting them.
With Nintendo though, they have so many IPs available, no one knows what they are going to be releasing on their consoles. People want Metroid, Star Fox, StarTropics, Eternal Darkness (bleh), etc, but we never can be positive that any of those titles are coming unless they are announced. There are no guarantees when it comes to what Nintendo will release on any given console. If Nintendo would just come out and say "we have some new titles that are currently in pre-development for Star Fox and Metroid" or something like that, it would ease a lot of peoples minds and spark some excitement. I mean, Disney told everyone the release date for Avengers 2 like 3 years in advance. We all knew it was coming, but its cool to have it confirmed its on the way.
Sounds good? Did you READ that last sentence? It clearly states Nintendo is having a very tough time developing games right now.
If the Statement rings true then That means Mario Kart 8 may get delayed to Holiday 2014 just so there would be a game for the Holidays. No way Animal Crossing U and Zelda U will be done by then.
And from the Sound of things The "Hardcore" crowd is NOT going to like the New Zelda game.
