Yes, we need remakes and ports on a new Nintendo console instead of original games. What a wonderful idea!
I don't see how it's any different from remaking Metal Gear on the PS3 or Halo Combat Evolved for the 360. Or the God of War HD collection. Or the Ico remake. Or the Shadow of the Colossus remake.
Bigger difference is that those games you mentioned are a million times better than any Nintendo game, even Halo.
I will type these few sentences and save any energy I would waste by simply thinking you exist. I never said those games were bad, I was just saying everyone else does it, so why would you turn on Nintendo when they do it? And congratulations, your totally ridiculous statement has made me dislike you so much that I won't put any thought or energy into replying to you ever again. You no longer exist in my eyes.
@Huiee123 Wouldn't an Art Academy for Wii U not technically be a remake? They could just further the series, but have lessons from the past games for newcomers.

I'm not against remakes but generally I'd prefer an original game over a remake. I think in any situation I'd prefer a new game! I'm pretty sure there has only ever been one game I really wanted a remake of: Digimon World: 3! Digimon World already got a remake so just skip 2 and please remake 3, Bandai!! D: That would be a Wii U seller for me, but 3DS or psp would be cool too.
