Topic: Wii U freeze ~ have you experienced this?

Hey guys, my Wii u keeps freezing and sometimes making a buzzing sound. Anyone else experiencing these problems and anyone know how to fix this?

i had this on call of duty about 20 mins ago ... i had to turn it off at the plug because it wouldent turn off at the console or gamepad

Yep, twice now. First it froze after exiting the internet browser, and then it froze with a loud buzzing noise after exiting the eShop.

Yes and it's perfectly normal considering this is launch hardware.

Nintendo will fix it with updates and later manufactured consoles will be spot on.

This isn't normal. Nintendo should of tested it before launch. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

It has happened to me a few times on black ops and once in assassins creed 3. Not often though.

all systems at launch isnt perfect, and most if not all issues can be fixed via patches..
if i recall the 360 and ps3 also had issues at launch

Yeah, why doesn't the force shutdown work anymore? I held my hand there for 5 minutes, and it just stayed on.

It's happened nearly a dozen times to my console; in ZombiU, BLOPSII, and in loading to and from applications within the system. Only way it will turn off is by unplugging the power cord, which is a cold thing to do to a relatively new console. Damage to come? I hope not.

It happens 2 me aswell ... Just switch off & on @ the mains ... No big deal ... They'll fix it eventually.

It's a big deal to me. Anyone know when they will release an update to fix this bloody problem?

it might never be fixed ... My PS3 & 360 freeze aswell ... That's modern technology 4 ya!!! /shrug

happened to me once while i was navigating the menu after playing scribblenauts unlimited. i'm sure Ninty will fix it. for the time being, we'll have to put up with it until ninty fixes it with an update. they did it with the 3DS right?

The 3DS had no problems. If they don't fix it the Wii U will be the biggest Nintendo disaster ever.

My 3DS had the same freezing problem (black screen) and all I can do is turn it off and on again... It's like that now (not normal) every "computer" stuff froze...
