Anyone else going to the Wii U Experience in Denver on Aug 24? I'll be there, so if you're going, bring like $50 or something and I'll give you an autograph.

This is invite-only, right? No invite for me. I'm not a member of Club Nintendo or whatever it is that puts you in the pool of people to be invited to these Experience things.

Theres a Denver one?! No invite for me. I'm about 7 hours from Denver. Apparently Nintendo didn't think I'd be up for traveling to Denver for the Wii U. Shows what they know.

...Maybe if I change my address to Colorado?

Iowa is an important state too. I mean it had a OOT3D preview event, which hardly any states had. (I think Delaware had none at all). I would at least like to see it in my best buy like with the 3DS.

How would you feel if Nintendo had a "Wii U Experience" in Iowa and didn't invite you? That's how I feel about not being invited to the Denver event.

(Oh, and the disc drive in my 2008 Wii has just died so I'm feeling especially bitter right now.)

@Zaphod_Beeblebrox The disc drive in my wii broke twice. Nintendo fixed it for free both times. Even paid for the shipping.

@TheDreamingHawk I must've missed the OoT 3D event.

Is that something that just happens automatically or do I have to call and use my (completely nonexistent) powers of negotiation? At this point I was just planning to replace the Wii with a Wii U since everything is supposedly going to be transferable.

I could still go to the event, you know. Unless they refuse to let you in completely if you don't have the email.

And if you must know, Gamestops all over the country (But in few areas) Had a early event where you could play the full version of zelda OOT3D a day before it came out. My gamestop was the only one in my state, so it shouldn't be any excuse not to put an experience event in every state.
