So have Gamecube games been confirmed for the Wii U VC or is it still a rumor?

Currently its only a rumor. But the Wii U losing GC backwards compatibility makes it limpet.

Hang on, the Wii U eShop is only getting a port of Marvel Pinball, not Zen Pinball 2?

This is a problem that no one seems to have picked up on. The reason Marvel Pinball exists on the 3DS is because it is too cumbersome for developers to do what Zen Studios does on the PS3/ Vita - free download of the game, but all the tables are demo-only unless you buy them as DLC.

So Nintendo's DLC policies/ freemium software policies might just still be lagging behind what the developer industry wants, and if so Wii U eShop, like WiiWare, DSiWare and 3DS eShop might struggle to get the quantity numbers up to where they need to be.

Or they could have just thrown it together to have a Wii U eShop launch game.
I also agree on my Art Style games. I'd love to see some Wii U and 3DS entries. It's a fantastic series.

Zen Studios hasn't done that in the past, so I don't see why it would start doing it now.

Also note: no freemium or DLC-supported games on that list as far as I can tell. It's telling.

As long as it has VC with a more consistent release schedule, I'll be happy. Some things I want to see: GameCube, Saturn, and Dreamcast added to supported systems, and more VCA games (maybe we can get arcade AND NES Contra :p ). Also, for WiiUWare, more Konami "ReBirth" games, and Final Fantasy V & VI sequels from Squeenix :)

The two eShop titles I am wanting are Mighty Swith Force HD and Mutan Mudd Deluxe. in a funny twist of fate, this holiday season I will have a 3DS XL and Wii U under the tree so I have not played either of the DS counterparts of these games. With the Delux of Mutant Mudd offering the 20 extra levels and the HD graphics of Mighty Switch Force, I'd say it was worth the wait.

Just saw a press release on Gonintendo that Chasing Aurora is going to be $14.99. Its expected but I was hoping that nintendo would try and have most titles $10 at the max.

On that note Ngamer has a single-player preview video of Chasing Aurora

The Launch Trailer for Mighty Switch Force Hyper Drive Edtion is out.

Also Notenoughshaders had an interview ith Shin'en on Nano Assault Neo. Nice four part interview with the first part being about Nano Assault Neo, the 2nd being on the technical aspects of Wii U, and the third part on the company itsself, and the final part on the future.

There's no WiiU eShop titles I want ATM (unless you count retail) I'm really hoping for some of the PSN games from Sega though

There's no reason they wouldn't release the HD remastered games on the eShop. They probably will.

Skull Girls on the eshop would make me very happy. Spelunky, too, to a lesser extent.

If the PAL launch has the same eShop line up as North America, I don't know how I'm going to afford all the games I want...

Wii U's early eShop stuff is shockingly fantastic. Between this and 3DS, Nintendo has finally learned (to a point at least). It's a Christmas Miracle!

seriously though, Trine 2 and Little Inferno and Two Brothers all look PHENOMENAL. Possibly better than any console games currently announced (excluding AC3).

Why does "Chasing Brothers" have a whole bunch of sound effects ripped straight from Zelda? And... is that missingno?

Haha me too:) I've paid for all my retail launch titles. I'm only getting three because I want to get at least 3 eshop titles. I hope they are only AU$20 but I guess I'll find out on November 30.
