The series is fine. The direction its headed in needs a drastic change. I actually prefer the long-winded MP 7 to the streamlined no-attention-span approach they've been favoring, as of late. When the absolute longest a game can last is one hour, you've done something wrong with your board game. (talking about Island Tour)

A nifty calendar (Updated 9/13/15)
The UGXloggery ... really needs an update.

I feel like it's unsalvageable at this point. They put out a new entry every year for so long that the series was milked dry

I wouldn't say it's a shame... But it is pretty surprising.

This one is interesting because it is an assymetrical Mario Party, and Bowser is usable. Hopefully that spices it up

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

The annual releases was 10 years ago. Mario Party 7 was in 2005. Mario Party 8 was in 2007. Mario Party 9 was in 2012.

Most Mario Party releases seems to have sold pretty well, except Mario Party 9. And still Mario Party 9 sold much more than any Metroid title on the Wii.

Mario Party 9 is the third highest selling in the series, and it came out when Wii was dying out.

Doubt it...I was hoping for changes, but they took it too far, only played Island Tour like, twice before getting completely bored with it. I'm sure the same will happen with this game.
