The Deluxe has tons of more stuff for just $50 more so unless you really want the color white or can't afford the extra $50,you should get the Deluxe

Please note that my opinion is just my opinion. You do not have to agree with it. but I hope you at least respect my opinion, like how I respect your's :)

Nintendork right here! >:D

Agree.

First off I wanted the Deluxe one cause for some reason I like the look of black consoles better. The only reason my Wii is white cause that was the only color available at launch and my Xbox 360 is the Star Wars Edition one. You add that you also get Nintendoland with it where as if I bought the basic model I would have to pay 60 bucks right there made it the better choice over all.

I'm getting any kind I can find. Hopefully deluxe.

But TBH, you can buy all of the stuff in the deluxe set (Except for the NNP deal, which is probably the best part) to use on the wii U basic. You can buy Nintendo Land, buy those stand and charging thingies, and buy a black gamepad if you really want (When they come out of course)

YOu can do that but I am sure that it will cost you alot more than just 50 dollars. But hey its your money.

Unless you don't want to get Nintendo Land. In that case 32GB is nothing (you can buy more for less than $50), and the %10 eShop promo is also of minor value. I'd say color is the only real decision to make here.

...in my pants.

Maybe, but at least you don't have to spend a ton at once.

Maybe he isn't intending on buying a whole lot of eShop games.

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

Basic: Wii U with 8GB of storage. Priced at $300.

Deluxe/Premium: Wii U with 32GB of storage, two-year Nintendo Network Premium access, almost $80-100 worth of accessories and a $60 title, Nintendo Land. Priced at $350.

Not that I'm coercing any particular decision on your part, but which one do you think gives you the most value for money here?

Let us not judge a man by the colour of his skin, but by the character he chooses to battle with in Brawl.

But if you buy the basic model you are already going to be spending more cause you dont get a game so you will have to spend 60 at least unless you want a Wii U paperweight.

You do know that we can transfer our wii games and play it on the wii U, right? Even though I may spend more in the end, if the basic is my only option then it's my only choice...

It's not your only option. Nobody is making you buy one at launch and they will restock the deluxe bundle. If you're going to buy what's in the package anyways, you might as well be patient. The system isn't going anywhere.

Reality is that both consoles, basic and deluxe, are at least $50 overpriced. They would still make a fair profit if the basic were $249.99 and the deluxe were $299.99!

They are selling both packages already at a loss! So, no, it is not overpriced, and no, they wouldn't make "a fair profit", because there is no profit right now.

I am getting a basic one cause I dont want NintendoLand. The white will match my wii and i would rather spend the extra money on better games that i will play more.

Well I wanna get one on launch just because I really don't care to have any of the other extras right now.

Does anyone know how big eShop releases are likely to be? I think Trine 2 was over 1GB on PS3, if that's typical of most releases then 8GB of storage won't be enough for me. I don't plan on downloading full retail releases so 32GB would do, I'd rather not have an external hard drive cluttering up my entertainment centre thankyouverymuch

If it wasn't for that though, I'd actually rather go for the basic package. I prefer black consoles, but nothing in the premium bundle appeals to me, and I really resent the fact that Nintendo are trying to force people to buy extra stuff just so they can have a black console. Colour should be the customer's choice, not a costly extra. It's not like black paint is more expensive than white paint

What do you expect them to put on offer, 25%?

Of course I wouldn't expect that. But 10% is an uncompelling percentage. It's hardly must have.

And the fact that you have to build up the points in 500 block increments makes it even less appealing.
