I wouldn't go that far

All I know is that I got Resident Evil Revelations for $15, after a $5 eShop promo code, during their $20 sale. If that ain't a good deal, then nothing is.

I've seen Metroid: Other M in a bargain bin for $4.99. ....I haven't played other M, but i know i'd dig it more than the mixed bag that is RE: Revelations. I wish Revy' had an option from the very start that would rip out all of those mindless shooter based 'filler' episodes, because the main game is actually pretty solid. Wouldn't mind seeing RE5: Wii U edition, where you can play solo without Shieva creeping up behind your back and taking your shots.lol The partner system destroyed half the experience, but in the end i'd give the 'slight' nod to RE5.

I get what you're saying. I bought Metroid: Other M on release day. I got the preorder art, and everything. I tried to play it, but I really couldn't. My opinion was based on how much I had payed($50 + tax). For $5, you can't really go wrong, though.

I just hope they make one that's similar to RE4: Wii Edition. I'd say co-op is OK, but they need to have the story and action be more reminiscent of RE4 and RE0-3 combined, IMO. In otherwords, the action from the newer games, but an environment and situation similar to the past games. IDK...

EDIT: Also, I think Claire Redfield and Barry should be the main characters in a RE game. Barry ended up being revived by the T-Virus, or something...

@SCAR392: Barry is either dead or alive depending on what you do in original Resident Evil BUT it is said that Barry is alive in Resident Evil 2 and moved to Canada.

Umm… Care to have some gravy?

Oh ya, you're right. Well, then I guess he doesn't need to be revived.

Barry is a beast! he's always been my favorite RE character...It's sad that's he's so underused. in the PS1 original, he was the big tough guy that typically had your back in a sticky situation. The last we saw of him was the teeny little appearance at the end of RE3: Nemesis where he rescues Jill & Carlos in a chopper.

Honestly, i wish Capcom would bring back a lot of that oldchool RE puzzle solving yet with more intricate and complex ideas, even borrowing elements from zack & Wiki & Silent Hill: Shattered Memories by using wii pointer/gyro controls. Plus, saving ammo like they're diamonds, tons of back tracking, wandering through narrow corridors, the works. Just make things SCARY again, instead of gravitating towards a high octain Hollywood movie with monsters. I hate the action oriented nature of RE6....I don't think i could play beyond Leon's campaign. I already spoiled everything for myself by watching all of the cutscenes online. Nothing special anyways, outside of the moment when Jake found out Chris killed his father. But nothing came of it....There was no explosive scene like there was with Chris and Wesker in RE5.

I haven't played any of the past RE games, in a while, so I can't really recall all that much.

The best Wii U deal is still W101 for $30!

As awesome as the W101 looks, I wish they'd come out with a Viewtiful Joe 3 for the Wii U. I loved the original back on the Cube. One of the most innovative & refreshing side scrollers I've ever played.

Could we mark this one as UK? Then have a US one also

We could but since no one is actually posting deals in here I doubt think there will be enought posts to warrant 2 threads.

The great thing about the Wii U is outside of first party games, the games become pretty cheap after a couple of months.

That's the same for most consoles, I saw Tomb Raider go for £15 3 months after it's release.

If you're getting Deus Ex get it at Game as it's cheaper there.

DK is £32.99 at GAME but if you pre-order you get a free keychain.

Pacman & the Ghostly Adventures shoulld be available in all Bargain bins pretty soon. I have a feeling down the line it's going to be labeled as one of the Wii U's hidden gems.
