Am I the only one disappointed with the Wii U activity/daily log? It pales in comparison to the one on the 3DS. My favorite use for it is to quickly see how many hours I've played a certain game and to see them all in a ranked list. The 3DS lets you access this info quickly and ranks them either by total hours played or by average time per play session. Unless I'm missing something, there is no way to see a list like this on the Wii U. I can only see play times by day/month/year. I then have to choose a title I've played on a certain day to see its total play time. Even then, however, there is no way to see it in a ranked list.
Yeah, the Wii U activity log pales in comparison. It's dull and kinda useless. I mean you can't see the amount of time spent on a particular software and all that; instead it combines everything into one cheesy list.
God first.

This is what happens when the 3DS looks to me as Nintendos primary machine now. We've taken the back seat. Guess the only thing I can say is enjoy the ride.

That's a big 'ol stretch to say the 3DS is Nintendo's primary console because it has a better activity log than the 3DS,

Just look at the way Nintendo push it. More advertising, Theme's, More details in regards to playtime. Even more game (First Party)

No, the Wii U in 2014 was a much bigger focus than the 3DS. The only reason the 3DS is getting more attention right now is because the New 3DS launched recently. Many first-party games Nintendo plans on releasing this year are for the Wii U.

How exactly does the activity log have any bearing at all on what makes it's Ninty's primary console?
The fact we get a gimped version I would say they are willing to put that extra efford into the 3DS. Sure it don't sound alot to go on but that's my theory.

Well at least you're right about it not being a lot to go on

If you select an individual software you can see how much time you've spent on it total.

Pretty sure this method still only shows you how much that user spent playing the title. If you have more than one user it would be nice to see total play time.
The activity log could use some more polish for sure.
I like it for what it is. I use it daily after I am done playing. I wish my PS3 had something like that.
Now something the U has that the 3DS does not (unless I missed it) is the total of monthly hours played. I even downloaded a time calculator app to measure how many hours a year I played the U by adding those monthly totals.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

You can see how many total hours you've played in a day, week, month, or year on the 3DS.

Thanks, I will try it today then.

The Wii U Activity Log is definitely a downgrade. What's worse is that it cannot fix a clock mistake. My Wii U's time got messed up once and it messed up my Super Smash Bros. for Wii U records and Activity Log records.
