A new Wii Sports has been announced for Wii U, taking all the original sports and updating them with Wii Motionplus support. There will also be online!
With this Online Mode, you will be registered into an online club depending on your state or region. Here Miiverse posts will appear in-game and there will be online tournaments between the state and regional clubs.
The download version of Wii Sports Club is coming on November 7 with Tennis and Bowling. There will be two purchases. The Club Pass lets you buy each sport for $10 each. A Day Pass gives you a trial of all the sports for a day for $2.
Online Bowling, Tennis, Boxing, Baseball & Golf... Never before has something as casual as WiiSports been so awesome... I think I need to sit down for a minute... Whoa!
If I get this, it would cost a max of $30 for me because I'm not really interested in tennis or golf. So I would buy bowling, boxing, and maybe baseball. This is such a neat idea!

Wii U's killer app. Probably means I'll be getting a WIi U before by the time Mario Kart launches. Looks like might be going Xbox One/Wii U for my next console line up.

I'm assuming you haven't played the original? Because I don't really understand how anyone could think Boxing and Baseball were the ones worth getting. Bowling was always the one everyone agreed was fantastic, boxing was the one well and truly at the other end.

It makes sense seeing as its a motion controlled game that will be played online, they're gonna need the most accurate movement that only motion+ can give.
