Since moving all of my Wii downloads & mii's to my WiiU back in January, I completely forgot that the wiimotes had onboard memory for storing mii's on them, until recently.
The annoying thing is, that the memory on the wiimotes are now completly useless because I can't move mii's onto them anymore.
I know, for most of you guys, it's no big loss, it was the least utalised part of the wiimote anyway. But the thing is, what's the point in including the tech into the wiimote if it's not being used, especially as it adds to the cost.
Do you guys think that Nintendo should reinstate the ability to move and share mii's the wiimote again, or do you think nintendo could find another use for it?

There have been other uses... I believe in Monster Hunter Tri, you could save your hunter info to it, and then bring your hunter to your friends house and play co op on his or her game.

The memory in it is surely dirt cheap since it is so small, and just because the WiiU doesn't yet utilize it doesn't mean Nintendo wants to make remotes missing features. I'm sure many people still buy new controllers for the Wii!

It isn't worth worrying about.

You could also transfer your PKMN Trainer ID (from Pokémon Battle Revolution) to a Wiimote.
