This is a bit off topic right away but hear me out: I have been a Nintendo Fan for nearly most of my life. I remember playing the NES when I was 5 years old, playing a creepy sci-fi game with aliens chasing you (Dang, what was that game?). I loved the NES, played way too many bad games but I didnt care (Yo! Noid, Total Recall to name a few). Thank goodness there's the great and memorable titles to make up for them (Castlevania 1-3, Mario 1-3, Blaster Master, Contra, Mega Man, etc).
When the SNES released, I played Super Metroid/ Metroid III and Super Mario World for countless hours. When the N64 released, I played countless hours on GoldenEye, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64. When the GC released, I played Smash Bros Melee for way too long, played Luigi's Mansion for days straight, etc.
The Launch of the Wii on November 19, 2006 was special for me; I stood in line at 4am in hopes to get myself a Wii. That was the first time I EVER waited in line on day one release. Truthfully, I wasn't too excited for the launch titles except for Twilight Princess.
Now we have the Wii U arriving November 18, 2012 in the US; I pre-ordered the Deluxe bundle online, the day after Nintendo's conference. I wish I would be in line at a store, as I did the Wii, but something about the Wii's history concerned me; I remember the Wii being so popular it took nearly 2 years to see them in stores. The popularity was so high it was unbelievable. I sure was lucky I got the Wii at launch day and I felt pre-ordering a Wii U would be easier.
The Wii U has a much better launch line up than the Wii's. I truly feel Nintendo is on the ball with this system, the backwards compatible controllers, better online features, functionality, etc. Seeing Nintendo's progress with each system makes me a happy Nintendo fan.
What do you guys think about the Wii U launch games?

Yeah, yeah, we're all Nintendo fans- I know. Thats why we are on a Nintendo fan forum right?
I just am extremely excited for all things Nintendo. The Wii U seems to be doing something right. The Wii was targeted for casual mostly, and motion controls. Nintendo is bringing the casual and the core into one; something I think is broader for the consumer and the developer.

I think the wii u launch games are some of the least exciting launch games since kinnect.
Same. NSMBU is kind of interesting, but there's always something about those games that I end up hating. SEGA Racing looks fun, but it's nothing that I'd buy a console for. I'll probably wait for Monster Hunter to hit before I get one.
I thinks it's better then the wiis launch (no Zelda sure but that was a GCN game anyway) and I don't get how people say the WiiUs full of ports and then say they'll get it when MH3 comes out.... Last I checked MH3 was a wii game coming to WiiU... So yeah... I'm getting it for the new games and maybe older games that weren't once available on a Nintendo console not one that is available already and for about $40 less then the WiiU version
Digitaloggery 3DS FC: Otaku1 WiiU: 013017970991 Nintendo of Japan niconico community is full of kawaii! Must finish my backlagg or at least get close this year W...
My thoughts exactly:
So many GAMES!
So much TECHNOLOGY!
So many FEATURES!
But there has to be a catch...
...
...!
Such a LOW PRICE!
Basically, I'm psyched for the thing and I'm gettin' it day one if possible.
My thoughts exactly. Only the price isn't low enough for me to get it myself at the moment, I really need to get a job... I'm having my fingers crossed that my Christmas plan will work.

Yeah, I'm gonna RANT now! Euro prices are over-blown, 38,6% higher that the US prices! 375€ for the Premium pack, which is about 485 US dollars! Anger and frustration rawr...
Same applies to games. Without taxes 43,8€ ($56,3), with VAT or whatever it's 60€ ($77) (and in some places almost 70€ which is almost $90!!)!!!!
...
Such a LOW PRICE!
The Wii U's launch line-up looks pretty solid, @Cyphid I know what you mean when I first picked my Wii up their were people standing outside of Gamestop pleading for me to sell my Wii to them one of the most akward days of my life.o.O

The Anticipation List
This simply is 10 Wii U launch titles (Downloadable games included) I'm most exited for
10 SiNG Party: What is in this title? We don't know alot but I am curious to see what Nintendo has to offer in the seemingly outdated karoke genre
9 Sonic and All Star Racing Transformed: Being a SEGA fan, I find this game great, mashing in strategy, with entertainment, and a $40 pricetag. I'm looking forward to see what we will get from the only racing title on the Wii U's launch.
8 Epic Mickey 2: The first Epic Mickey was great, as long as this title stays to its roots, and fix all the technical issues of the last game, it should be a spectacular title.
7 Little Inferno: From the creators of World of Goo, one of the greatest Wiiware titles. And a great Teaser Trailer It's hard not to be curious of the title.
6 Cloudberry Kingdom: Randomly generated levels, co-op and difficulty alone makes this the best title to get on the eShop.
5 Nintendo Land: There is something for everyone in this title and it helps that it comes in the Premium Wii U
4 Scribblenauts Unlimited: A Colossal Enternaing Video Game, that seems to use Miiverse at its best. It puts creativity in your hands and lets you find out how to solve a problem with your vast imagination.
3 New Super Mario Bros. U: Its hard to say you don't love Mario, even after many titles, Mario platforming hasn't ever screwed up within its 27 year history. So I have no reason not to put it on this list.
2 Zombi U: The greatest utilization of the Gamepad yet. I can't wait to see how the gameplay turns out, and it seems to have all we love from Resident evil, and give it something extra with the Gamepad. Ubisoft went all out on this title.
1 Tekken Tag Tournement 2: Come for the fighting, stay for the costumes. 50 Fighters, interesting fighting modes, and the ability to track down everyone's records online. It's most defenately my most anticipated.
I thinks it's better then the wiis launch (no Zelda sure but that was a GCN game anyway) and I don't get how people say the WiiUs full of ports and then say they'll get it when MH3 comes out.... lol yeah...Ultimate is basically going to make Tri look pathetic when comparing content.
