Topic: Wii Fit U and balance board problem please help

I've downloaded the trial version four times and to no avail. I sync the balance board (eventually) and get the solid blue light, but when it tries to do a body test it simply sits there telling me to power it on and place it flat on the floor (which it is). If I press the home button twice it dings at me and then leaves with a white screen and leaves me with no option but to close the software. Anyone got any ideas as want to trial the game but can't get anywhere. I know the balance board is working ok as have no problems with it in Wii Fit.

Are you able to use it with Wii Fit on your Wii U, or just on your Wii? Would be good to know it really is synced to your Wii U system.

Yes it all works fine with the wii u in wii mode. If i play wii fit it works fine.

Well, I think it always asks you to turn on the Balance Board when you start with the body test. Does it not recognize when you push the button? If it isn't coming on, try hitting the home button and going to the Wiimote pairings to reconnect, and then try to turn on the Balance Board. It should connect as Wiimote number 4 when you turn it on and then it should continue to work after you exit the home menu.

I found out that the problem (after ringing Nintendo) was that my unofficial balance board is incompatible with the software. They suggested I buy a new balance board. I declined and told them that it will be cheaper to just delete the software. Bit miffed as liked the look of the game.

I'm using an Intec Action Board instead of the official Balance Board, and it works just fine with Wii Fit U. Nintendo probably just told you that because it's not their product, so they can't guarantee it will work properly, but I wouldn't give up hope on getting it to work.

Well the board is synced and in the home menu it shows up as controller 4. When I close the home menu it dings and leaves me with a white screen. The bloke at Nintendo said it was new to him. According to the board test on wii fit it's working fine. I've tried moving all my wii fit data to an sd card in case the update isn't working properly. I've deleted my mii and created a new one in case it was that. To be honest I'm pretty much out of ideas now.

theres a way you can reset all the pairings and then resync them. look it up and try that maybe.
