warioswoods	9. Posted: Sat 4th Jun 2011 18:20 BST Well... the usual franchises are sure to show up eventually, but I actually don't want them to be the focus for this new system. The Wii was able to take off thanks to a new, social franchise (Wii Sports) that managed to show off exactly why this system was different from past systems, rather than just improved or more powerful, etc. This new console needs something like that. And, yes, I want them to rebuke the "core" nonsense and not simply pander to gamers... bring us something that can amaze anyone with a living room, a TV, and a few friends. Don't go back to catering to the nerds alone, please. @Clinker Now that I would like to see, as I'm a big fan of the first game. Also, 4 Swords, dangit!!

Posted: Sat 4th Jun 2011 18:41 BST As much as I would love to see their old franchises in glorious HD, It would be at true treat to have revived franchise, like how they are bringing back Kid Icarus. Also a few new ones wouldn't hurt. Also bring on more 3rd party RPGs for the system, that would be incredible. I would love that to death. And a 1st party RPG besides Paper Mario. Ya never know. Mario Kart would be great with a no weapons option Waverace and F-Zero need online multiplayer Excitebike should have a track editor So I'm a racing game fan!

SigourneyBeaver	12. Posted: Sat 4th Jun 2011 19:06 BST One more thing I just thought of. A Batallion Wars game where you plan your moves on the touchscreen controller and watch them play out in 3D on the TV. In local multiplayer, each player's moves would be a secret as they're on separate screens.
