That first post is a mess.

He's well spoken, but his numbers are garbage and only take a certain slant to make it look like there's a demand, yet there really isn't much. Just because more of the install base has bought splinter cell or some others of ubisofts titles, doesn't mean squat. The end number, the total sales matters, and 70k isn't much for Splinter Cell, and AC3 did 262K copies. He's taking it all in direction of the install base, but completely ignoring this pile of sales greatly so was all done with the launch of the system when those who wanted the WiiU heavily was looking to get anything great off the shelf at the time. How about we look at the install base that bought games and how many total games were sold a year later on those games, or sequels like AC4. The only Ubisoft game other than launch ZombiU that did truly excellent was Rayman which isn't a mature title, and it outsold the other systems.

Install base is playing with numbers to look good, the base doesn't matter. Total units sold does and if you can't clear X amount of games sold at the starter MSRP, it's a failure. That's the WiiU problem, lack of systems sold, lack of those who want T and M games, and even then those who would buy it on WiiU versus elsewhere, especially at $60.

Exactly. Sure, the % of the install base that buys the game is the same, but the problem is, the Wii U has a smaller install base. Companies don't care about install base percentages, they care about over all sales.

which is why the video asks 3rd Parties to be more honest, if it is about the number sold not the % then tell us. The video focuses on Ubisoft's remarkabout Wii U owners ddon't want "mature titles, the proves through the % that we do, we just don't have the numbers to back it up. The video is pretty good, if you haven't watched it

Ubisoft is about as dishonest as they come. See what they show at E3 (And then immediately start downgrading).

The cool thing when you have other interests besides video games is you don't give a rip about playing more than 4 or 5 "major releases" a year hence why I got no time to complain about third parties.

To blessed to be stressed.
I miss Japanese games, the good stuff... Games that are imaginative, have good and unique gameplay, a great soundtrack, and replay value.

30 mins every other day (Or even less).

30 mins a day I would say needs one game a month, an hour 2 a month.

Still plenty of time for loads of other stuff doing that. (Getting Monster Hunter just because it lasts ages if you don't want to play it I don't think is worthwhile).

I don't complete 1 game/month though. Well scratch that, I was done with Mario Kart 8 around 3 weeks.
